There are sooooo many. My favorite way to find them is through Pinterest, but the major yarn companies have their own, for instance -

1. Lyon Brand Yarn, plus reference their store in NYC, as well. Edited to add that you can request a paper catalog from them. I LOVE this!

2. Ravelry

3. Annie's: once in a while free one, but others are inexpensive.

4. Interweave Crochet: not free, but just a few bucks when they have a sale. Like their patterns.

Berocco - or is it Berrocco? I can never remember. They have a selection of free patterns.

Knitpicks.com has free patterns.

I use Ravelry often because you can search based on the yarn weight, e.g. fingering & the amount of yarn you have, e.g. 500 yards.

I know this thread is a few months old but I searched for threads about crocet and arrived here ~ thanks all for the websites ~ I joined ravelry and have found many great patterns there.

I've made a crocheted slouchy beanie for my daughter that she absolutely loved. I've made two baby "cocoons" and a couple of baby blankets....I made a shrug aka a bolero and I'm currently finishing another.

For those interested, this is a great crochet site: http://freevintagecrochet.com/ It does have ads but the patterns are free.
