@viva923 So Viva, what were you eating when you chipped the tooth and what did the dentist say? I've done more damage to teeth with a slice of fresh bread than I ever have with a milk dud or chewy piece of candy.

Also I see everyday you have chores to do. Your home must be immaculate. I find it tough some days just to get up and get myself put together. So you do laundry every day? I wish I had your stamina

It's cool and breezy outside my window today. It looks like the sun is trying to come out for the second afternoon in a row. It's been overcast more often than not in the past week and even I'm getting sick of it. This morning the garbage guys came earlier than usual and they pulled up as I walked down the driveway with a couple of bags of trash.

I'm a wash-woman and do a load a day. Somehow I got out of the habit of accumulating laundry in the basket and I can't recall when that happened

I'm watching an episode of Quincy M.E. on COZI tv. The storyline is about a child with suspected autism and when the parents said their son had seen 7 doctors (he's aged 7), Quincy said SEVEN DOCTORS??!!

I thought to myself, wow Quincy you'd have a fit with today's health care system. Everyone specializes now and you can go to the doctor with a simple ache and get referred to have a dozen more

birdmama, i too have seen quincy and watching that show depresses me. jack klugman excellent actor, not sure if it was his forcefullness acting, but he scared me in that series.

i have seen episode where I too thought of if only he knew, there is a doctor to see a doctor for seeing a patient with a hangnail. it is just unbelievable there is NO LONGER one doctor for everything now days. when did it become so complicated.

not much else. been raining since about 11am or so. nothing hard,just a steady light rain.

Yea Viva, Quincy was what I would call a crusader. On the one hand the character talked about social issues that were often not talked about on the TV. On the other hand, nobody likes a know it all and sometimes Quincy could come across like that. Today he was railing about the little boy being autistic which if you think about it was not talked about nearly 40 years ago on TV On the other hand I was like, Quincy you work on dead people, come on now.

hey all

knew something was not right across street from me at neighbors house

the old man's daughter got high on drugs, drove off with the 1 car they owned and crash it so severly she broke every chest bone in her body, she is at home recovering. no health insurance. don't know if she even had a license to drive.

anyway, i think lawyers/courts are now involved. all that paperwork the old man picked up yesterday. see what happens next, this daughter is about 35 yrs old, she has a brain a size of peanut, i don't think she even graduated from high school, i have talked with her enough,she really has no education. anyway, see where this goes now.

not much for me

did chores,did walk, did not hang out, way to damp wet outside, there was fog this morn, full sun now but still very damp-chill.

I've been trying to log in and itvwouldnt let me I think I'm back in business. Birdmanma has been having problems also.

we learned Monday that my great granddaughter has tested positive for COVID. She is 10 years old. They expected she would be getting the shot. The teacher tested pisitive. A lot of the class was absent so they decided to quarantine the entire class. Her dad took her to testing center and she shiwed up pisitive. Her family is all vaccinated. She feels very tired but she has no fever just a lingering cough.

It has been a weird week not being able to sign in on the forums.It's good to be back.

Damp and raining off and on here. Might get snow this weekend. It"s getting cooler as I am writing this.

Hope all is well with everyone and pain issues get better.
