So glad you saw this! Looks like these boards are staying put, but I like the option of connecting at the other place via private message.

Hello, ladies..........I just saw this thread. Thanks for thinking of me. I heard that perhaps the forums would be shut down and was very upset about it. It looks like the decision has been reversed----I hope that it stays that way. But we still have a way to connect with one another over on the ProBoards.........I haven't had time yet to take a look. I will do that soon.

I am hoping that Snappy and Cute will check in at some point. Happy to see that some of us are still in the loop.

I am doing well, and have been super busy. Spending more time with my family. The pandemic has changed a lot of things for me. We have to wear masks and show our vaccination card if we want to dine inside of a restaurant or go to the gym, movie theater, etc.

MsLomo........I still hate wearing the mask. I can only stand it for a short period of time. Just long enough to hop in and out of the bank, post office, etc. My friend that got fired from her job because she wouldn't get vaccinated has moved to Colorado and has found a new job. Good for her. She is with her family now. So, it worked out for her in the long run. Here in CA, they are firing people from some companies left and right because they refuse to be "vaxed". Such a problem. I also wonder about the flu season and what that will bring.

JamandBread......how are things with you? How is little Hal, who isn't so little any more. I think that my nephew and Hal are the same age.

Litle Lijah started Kindergarten, and he is the project manager of the sandbox. The first day, he wouldn't let anyone in the sandbox. He played in it all by himself. So, he received a "time out". Then his dad constructed a sandbox at home for him---very fancy. Well, he went to school and was still being bossy about the sandbox. He let each child have one toy to play with, while he had six toys for himself, and assigned duties to the kids. The boys made the sandcastles and the girls had to keep the sandbox tidy. At this point, I think that he is bored with it and it moving on to something else. At least, we hope so.

I don't have any big plans for the weekend.......just want to chill out and be a couch potato.

The HSN Board is up. I was a member there years ago but can't remember my nickname lol. Checked there and had a peep. Saw a few of the QVC Posters there.

Hi, @Pink123! Thanks, and very nice to see you, too. I remember your "South Florida" name and the thread "Shop Till Ya Drop," as well as Sheba who is wonderful and still posts in the HSN Community, and Kemiqueen.

When the HSN forum closed (and before it reopened), an HSN poster whose nic was "Devia" (her name is "Cute t" here, but she hasn't posted in a long time) started the "hello" thread here with other HSN posters Issy, Snappyfrappy, and me.

That was some years ago, and JamandBread joined us; other posters have continued to drop in over the years.

I joined the new mellyg proboards with my same nic -- it's very nice there if you'd like to come over!

Hi! Not in real life. We're former HSN posters from way back and have kept in touch by communicating via the "hello" thread here in the QVC forums. We started when the HSN Community closed some years ago, although it reopened after that.

Hi @MsLomo. I'm so glad you remembered. For a few years it was alot of fun over there. I too checked, it got busy for awhile with some Q posters but has now died down again. Sheba is the only one who is steadfast.

WOW !! I finally got on here !!! Big Shout/OUT to MsLomo , Issy , and Snappy !! I guess all of you are getting use to the time change by now. Soon to be Thanksgiving . We have been busy as my hubby is still working so no rest for the weary.. Hoping all of YOU are doing good.. We have a set of Twins they are 5 months old now. a Boy and Girl our Great Grandchildren This is our Grandson that owns his own business and the World Travelers. They have 2 in College and a 3 year old soon to be 4 year old along with the set of Twins. Busy Family.. The Park here has their Christmas Lights up and so pretty . they added a bunch to them this year and yes we also have our Decorations out. Have all of YOU got your Christmas Shopping done ? we our getting a New Great Granddaughter in Jan. this will be her first child. Our Oklahoma granddaughter.. BOY so much going on This O Great Granny cannot keep up.. I Want to thank QVC for helping me to get on this post here.. Missing All of YOU and I want to Wish Each and Everyone One of You " Happy ~~ Holidays " !! Also Happy Shopping at HSN and QVC boy they brought all of Us together !! On Here..
