topic Re: SWINGING INTO SPRING 🐰🐝🌻🌷 in Among Friends https://community.qvc.com/t5/Among-Friends/SWINGING-INTO-SPRING/m-p/6918291#M490374 <P><a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/10194">@possummink</a>&nbsp; <FONT size="4">&nbsp;I am sorry for your loss.&nbsp; My Mother passed</FONT></P><P><FONT size="4">for a bleeding issue.&nbsp; She was sitting in a chair in front of the tv in her hospital room, and when the nurse returned, she was slumped over and gone.&nbsp; She bumped her leg, then blue spots appeared all over, so she was having transfusions every other day.&nbsp; Actually, if one has to go, it seems a pain free way.&nbsp; My Uncle, her older brother, passed that way also.&nbsp; Went to bed for a nap, and passed.</FONT></P><P>&nbsp;</P><P><FONT size="4">Re the circuits in your home, someone will have to mark them for you, all of ours are marked.&nbsp; One panel upstairs, and when the kitchen was remodeled, another was installed in the store room under the house for that.&nbsp; Both panels are marked.</FONT></P><P>&nbsp;</P><P><FONT size="4">Your new plants are what I have, and you will love the spirea.&nbsp; I have one that has grown huge, in horrible soil, only&nbsp;gets water if the sprinkler does it while it is watering plants on a lower&nbsp;level than it, always amazed each Spring how floriferous&nbsp;it is.</FONT></P><P>&nbsp;</P><P><FONT size="4">Over twenty years ago, we planted many Lilacs.&nbsp; I must have ignored them when DD came along, and/or maybe gophers got some, so I rescued what I could and put them in pots.&nbsp; Through the years, I have bought quite a few more, four are in the ground.&nbsp; One that is in the ground was one I rescued about four years ago, looked far gone, but it finally bloomed this year.&nbsp; Due to the fact that I am going to plant a ceanothus, Summer Lilac in California, which will cover a vast area on a slope, we will dig up that Lilac and pot it in a twenty-five gallon pot, as we have done with the others that were in small pots over the last two Sundays, some that havn't bloomed, and four that have, so hopefully next year.</FONT></P><P>&nbsp;</P><P><FONT size="4">There was one Lilac on a slope in horrible soil that bloomed every year, and I loved it.&nbsp; All of a sudden, it stopped and it is almost dead except for a few leaves.&nbsp; Years ago, I took a sapling of it and potted it, but had decided that it had died.&nbsp; Yesterday, while potting Lilacs,&nbsp; I saw a tag that I had dug it up in 2017 from the slope, so was so excited that it survived, and it did bloom this year, so now we will dig out the dead one, would have to, looks ugly.</FONT></P><P>&nbsp;</P><P><FONT size="4">I have two of the same yellow Lilacs that will go into pots or the ground in my yellow area, and some white, along with more still in the small pots, so will finish that soon before Summer heat arrives though we are already having 80's, horrible to have the heat so early, and it will continue for months.</FONT></P><P>&nbsp;</P><P><FONT size="4">I discovered Encore azaleas last Fall, and went crazy, bought quite a few this year in various colors and shapes of flowers.&nbsp; Are you familar with them?&nbsp; They bloom at least twice a year, sometimes more.</FONT></P><P>&nbsp;</P><P><FONT size="4">I also have quite a few mini roses, and wanted more in different colors so began looking.&nbsp; I looked for quite a while and could not find any place with much or they were too expensive.
