@sunshine45 @ECBG Similar, Dove but prefer See's. We grew up in the town with one of the two See's factories so See's is incredibly nostalgic and still delicious.

I eat chocolate everyday, usually dark chocolate and I have most of my life. I mostly eat imported chocolate with a high percentage of cacao.

At Christmas time, I tried a Lindt truffle for the first time. I had to spit it out. It was the worse tasting chocolate ever. It gave me a nasty mouth feel. Yuck. I don't ever remember spitting out chocolate before.

I love Dove dark chocolate. I haven't had it for a while, but I really like it.

If I have to eat cheap milk chocolate, Nestles makes the best..creamy and smooth, better than Hershey or Mars.

I am not a Godiva fan either, but Ghiradeli chocolate is good. I use their dipping chocolate for making candy.

Godiva leaves greasy taste on the roof of my mouth. Dove is OK but prefer Sees. I don;t think I have ever had Lindt.

We have a few small companies who make top quality chocolates in our area. If the truth be known, I’ve never met a chocolate I didn’t like.

I love most chocolates! That's my problem! I used to buy these Dove dark chocolates bars. They were not as bitter as a lot of dark chocolates. I like the Lindt truffles -- very satisfying! As for other candies --- I think Hershey's is just as good as any! The kisses, the blocks, any of it! I also like boxed choclates --- I prefer the caramels and the nuts! As you can see --- I am not a snob when it comes to chocolate!!!

Have you ever had Zoet chocolate? They have several types and their dark chocolate with cocao is very good. It's a large bar and I can break off a piece when craving chocolate. It's pricy but my grocery store often has it on sale. It's one of my favorites.

I guess I am a Chocolate snob and prefer European Chocolates especially Belgian when I can get them. I was in Europe and went through a Tobbler facility in Switzerland many years ago and tried the chocolates with liquor and wow, felt tipsy. I saw alot of Lindt shops in France and toured a family owned chocolate shop. They love their chocolate especially for Christmas and Easter.

ALDIS Choceur brand isn't high priced and good. I received a Mars coupon in my local paper for Valentine's Day, passing it on as won't use it. I allow one or two pieces only a day.

My Mother made a French Silk Chocolate pie with Herseys baking chocolate. It was divine. Haven't made or had it in years.

I love Dove of any kind over Lindt but especially the dark chocolate. I too also love Sees. When we were in Europe for a few weeks a couple years ago Lindt was everywhere. I guess it's all what you're used to. I know when I try Lindt it was nothing special.

I would choose Dove.

My favorite chocolate was home made by a friend of my Dad....never tasted anything that came close to the deliciousness of that.

I am also happy with a good old Milk Chocolate Hershey bar with almonds.

I don't eat very much chocolate and don't know that I've even ever had a Lindt chocolate (although I'm sure I probably have) so I'll go with Dove.

Gertrude Hawk dark or milk is my ALL TIME favorite chocolate - hands down.

Dove I like over Lindt, never a fan of Lindt.
