WHATCHA DOING TOMORROW NIGHT?

More important than saying HI to 2021 is saying BYE to 2020. What a year!!!

I bought steaks to put on the grill, but now cold and rain predicted. Never fear. Shrimp in the freezer to fry up with baked sweet potato fries, salad, mac 'n cheese and blueberry cobbler for dessert. Oh, starting out with my COSMO...maybe 2 (heck of a year). Then watching the big doings on TV.

I think there's a tradition of black eye peas and greens. Can do the peas, but just can't make the greens like my aunt could. She started with a big ham bone (I think) and lots of spices and it sat on the stove all day...low and slow.

What will you be doing to welcome 2021?

Well, one thing I won't be doing is WATCHING ON TV the Times Square ball drop. Not even Atlanta's Underground peach drop.

I have racked up a few movies I burned. I will be watching movies from one year to the next!

I can't wait to usher in 2021. My DH & I are going to order a nice carry out dinner from our favorite Italian restaurant and at midnight, we will be getting into the hot tub with a Wine 🍷🍷🍷 cooler. We usually have a nice dinner out with friends and then play cards.

In any other normal time, i would've loved to go out to a nice dinner with my dh and then go dancing and watch fire works. Buuut this year, we most likely will be staying home and doing our usual evening routine.

Staying home. Got some snacks - cheese and crackers, a small veggie tray, peanut butter cookies. My dog is pretty much deaf now so the fireworks don't bother her anymore. My cat will just go sleep somewhere quiet. Happy New Year!

@QVCkitty1 I usually don't make it until midnight, but same here. I want to be sure to see the end of 2020. I'll throw away that planner before I go to sleep so I can start my 2021 one tomorrow morning. It already has a few "things" in it....just doc appts., the dentist and family birthdays/anniversaries. My 2020 planner was sad to see....empty pages since March. We never went out New Year's. I felt forced to enjoy myself and watch others drink too much and act silly. No thanks.

Thanks for all the details @Mz iMac . I'll be watching the doings on TV and binge watching a few Netflix series to finish them up. I bought 2 boxes of my favorite microwave popcorn. I may splurge and melt some butter for the top.

@twinny70 Ooooh. The hot tub part sounds so great. Italian dinner, huh? I may bring in and forget all the pots and dishes. My new set of dishes hasn't arrived here yet after DH broke a few plates last week loading the dishwasher. I don't trust him yet.
