JILL BAUER ON HODA AND JENNA

Jill was on NBC doing a germ testing on various places in the home. She seems happy, relaxed, loving what's she's doing AND seems to have lost weight. Maybe this gig is less stressful for her.

Has anyone seen her on TODAY SHOW segments since she left QVC?

So nice to hear about Jill's ventures since the Q but what an offhanded remark about another womans weight. I never thought of Jill being anything but perfect. Your comment would have been so much more heartfelt and kinder if her weight wasn't mentioned. JMO

I've seen Jill on TV multiple times since leaving. She always does a great job and yes, she looks happy and terrific!

Yes, I have seen her segments on Hoda & Jenna. She is great on her new gig,& her sweet enthusiastic personality come through. She was always my favorite. I don't think any other can hold a candle to her.

I don't think Jill left because of stress, she's pro. I think she was bored and she wanted to branch out and do something different that really used he skills and interests. And she found it. She has her Instagram following and her work for NBC and you can tell how happy she is. She has control of her career and most likely makes more money now.

I don't see a reason to mention someone's weight like this. Why chance hurting someone's feelings when it is so easy not to? No reason at all!

It was an observation as Jill was rather heavy set while on Q. I see commenst all the time here such as 'Carolyn looks like ahe lost weight' etc. No big deal.

I am so happy to see Jill be successful. She suffered through a lot on nonsense here for a number of reasons.

I always thought she did a great job, and it's wonderful to see her take a chance and make a go of it! Kudos to her! And best wishes!

Jill has done many segments on the Today Show since leaving QVC. She usually posts her upcoming appearances on her Instagram page. She is a pro, and seems very happy in her latest pursuits. I wish her continued success!

Have we become so sensitive that we take exception to such an innocuous comment? It wasn't a derogatory remark anymore than saying her hair was lighter or her dress was really cute on her. If she was bashed for gaining weight or anything else it would be a different story.

I've been following Jill on her FB lives etc...she's happily responded to people complimenting her weight loss. She thanked everyone for the compliments and then responded to those that had asked to share how she did it, which she was happy to do. Weight control, dieting etc...many can relate...many are interested when others have obviously had success doing it. OP's comments were not offensive imo. Not everything is "weight shaming." We're getting so sensitive and pc, that we're losing our ability to use critical judgement in people's intention when they speak. I heard nothing but positivity from OP.

I've followed Jill on her FB lives since she left. She's happily acknowledged all the compliments she's received about her obvious weight loss. She also responded to all the requests to share how she's done it that she received. Weight management is something many of us can relate to...it's usually an up, down, fluctuating life long thing...so people love to acknowledge and learn from others' successes. I heard nothing mean-spirited or "left-handed" to OP's original remark, only a positive post. Not everything is "weight shaming."
