Today is my 25th wedding anniversary. To celebrate DDs are making us cacio e pepe for dinner-yum! They also we will be cleaning up the kitchen after making dinner which seems to be endlessly dirty these days- yea!

Happy Anniversary, do you remember your first date? I have friends who were celebrating their 50th and they re-created their first date which was a picnic. 💘

I do remember. I asked my DH out on our first date- we worked together and the guy I was dating was backpacing in Europe for the summer and I was bored. We went to a Mexican restaurant which is no longer exists. That and the fact restaurants are not open in my state would preclude us from re-creating it.

@ninjawife ... Love cacio & pepe! I first had it in Rome.... it was delicious! You would think it is really easy to make as there are so few ingredients. However, nothing could be further from the truth. I found a recipe for it on America's Test kitchen that works really well.

My daughter studied in Rome for a semester so she is very well versed in how to make cacio e pepe. She did a great job!
