Hi Ladies, Seven Layer or "Magic Cookies" are so easy!

First, add aluminum foil to a 9x 13.

Spray aluminum foil well . Esp sides and corners.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1 stick butter, melted

1 C graham cracker crumbs

9oz coconut

16 oz Butterscotch morsels

16 oz Semi Sweet chocolate morsels

1 C chopped nuts

1 can sweetened condensed milk (Eagle Brand)

Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.

Press into prepared 9 x 13

Sprinkle coconut.

Sprinkle butterscotch.

Sprinkle chocolate.

Sprinkle nuts.

Drizzle sweetened condensed milk thinly back and forth width wise then length wise, covering sides and corners well.

Bake 350 until done

Corners do not need to brown

Cool

Use ends to lift to cutting board.

have been making these since the 80s! switch up the nuts, switch up the morsels (they are great with peanut butter morsels), add toffee bits....lots of variations. so easy, so delicious! very sweet......have tea, coffee, or milk available!

@sunshine45 DS will have fits when he finds out! I oy make them at Christmas but had everything left since I worked so much. If you don't use Gherideli chocolate it takes everything to the next level!

sounds good!

yes, substituting out the the butterscotch chips for peanut butter chips AND using peanuts instead is a great way to switch it up.

the toffee chips also add an additional layer of flavor.

this recipe is so easy to play around with.

@ECBG Just sinfully gorgeous!!! Did you remember my chocolate milk w/ straw? May have to wait until this pandemic crud is over....Do they freeze well or better yet..or if you're a true friend, you'd share the recipe.
