FIRST PLACE YOU WANT TO GO

When this mess is over, the coast is clear, what's the first place you want to go to?

I'm craving Fajitas at the Mexican restaurant at the mall. You can get a table near the tortilla machine and watch them go down the conveyor belt, flip themselves over and slide on down into the hands of the woman waiting to stack them in baskets. Some poor tortillas don't make it. They're doomed. They either get stuck on the way down and fall off the belt hitting the floor or splash out of the oil causing a collision of 3 or 4 tortillas who stick together and cause a tie up. By that point, I'm on the floor in hysterics.

After supper, I'd stroll through the mall and stop at Starbuck's for a cappuccino w/ skim milk and cinnamon.

@on the bay Yum. That was #2 on my mind. I cook pretty good Italian food, but Mexican and sushi? Nah.

A New Orleans style restaurant about 45 minutes from here. I want a saled, shrimp brantley, a crab cake and a loaded mashed potato. I will have enough to bring home for the next day.

Well, now Im hungry!

There is an Italian restaurant near us owned by a couple from Italy. The pizza is unbelievable. Thin crust, cooked to perfection just the way I like it....pretty well done but not burnt. Pepperoni imported from Italy and delicious. Just the right amount of cheese. It is the best pizza I have ever tasted and I have lived in NY and travelled many times to Italy.

Now I'm actually starting to drool. Can't wait to go there again.

Op, did you do all those things last week? I prefer to live in the moment as it’s going to be quite some time before this virus runs its course. In the meantime, counting my blessings and thinking of all those who are, will be going through h*ell both now and in the aftermath.

They have both. Lots of place do in this area. I should have written loaded mashed potatoes. But thats what it is. All mashed together and very yummy. I don't think I've ever met any kind of potatoes I didn't like though.
