I just happened to google Chris Scanlon Former HSN Host. It looks like she was arrested in May, 2019. Charges are for felony, counts of theft, forgery and tax evasion. How sad is that.

@BN MI I have not followed the story and did not really see her on HSN, but I think it is always sad when people who we perceive as successful find themselves in such circumstances.

I remember watching Chris always liked her as a host, but wondered whatever happened to her. Sorry to hear about this.

I just did a Google search - she really looks different than when she was on HSN. The charges are very serious. Makes me wonder what happened.

@BN MI Yes, this came out back in May here on the boards. Really sad. A talented lovely lady and host, who just went the wrong way. I hope she can turn her life around. Who would wish this outcome on anyone?

Guess law enforcement must think they have enough proof before they arrested someone. Those are some very serious charges for sure, and could carry some big time penalties.

I can't find "sad" for me when someone is charged with those types of crimes. She will have her day in court to prove her innocence. I recognize her name, but can't place her face. If she is innocent I hope she is able to prove them wrong.

ITA - why do some posters feel the need to scold? (it's usually the same ones) Sometimes I want to post something, but think twice because of the nasty comments that are sure to come. Sad.
