Is Anyone RELATED to a famous person?

I’m not...however, my niece (by marriage) has a brother who is a well known NASCAR crew chief. Only die hard NASCAR fans would know of him.

Well the famous person I am related to wasn't very nice. He is Long gone now and the Person was Pancho Villa

I'm related by marriage to a former college football coach. Not sure if you would call him famous unless you are big into college football though.

But I'm a die hard NASCAR fan so more impressed by that. LOL. Care to share who?

Yes! I think he was Trevor Bayne's crew chief? Not anymore but I love Trevor Bayne and will miss him. I am impressed. I am a NASCAR girl through and through.

Yes, I am related to a famous Samurai who's family lived during the 1400s, Japan. There's a family crest, 'Kamon", that my mother's side carries. It's unique and can be traced back in time based on the design of that crest.

Will he be crew chief for Ryan Newman? I love Trevor Bayne but hadn't kept up on news with what would be going on with his team. I assumed it would all go to his replacement. I know Matt Kenseth was in that ride a lot of last year too and I love him too. So I'm impressed.

My grandad had a "very quick encounter" of the romantic kind with Mae West back in the silent movie/early talkie era. Ms West had her own railroad car and Grampy worked for the railroad at the time. If they had been serious and made it permanent, Mae West would have been my Granny!! BUT other than this, we do not have any famous people in the clan.

I don't know why this reminded me, but I'm related to Annie Oakley too on my dad's side. I was thinking about people still alive. LOL.

I really don’t know. Unfortunately, he was never crew chief for my favorite driver, Jimmie Johnson. My DH and I like Trevor Bayne and Chase Elliott (we liked him even before he did so well in 2018 season)

Oh my gosh, I'm related to two famous people. Charlie Barnet, the 1940's bandleader and musician on my father's side and Ben Stiller on my mother's side. Charlie Barnet was quite the character I was told, married 10 or11 times.
