UPDATE ON HURRICANE IN CENTRAL NC

We’re getting smacked w/ wind and heavy rain. Tornado warnings and thunderstorms, too. Just went through all this w/ Florence.

Filled my up my tub, have all lg. Tupperware type liquid containers filled w/ water, all porch rockers and planters on plastic in front hall....AGAIN. Never had the opportunity to move all patio furniture back out of garage. Oh well...good thing.

Flash flooding expected through tomorrow and Sat. Older trees or ones w/ shallow roots soaked from Florence may come down causing estimated 500,000 homes w/o power.

@Shanus..................Here in western NC we got a ton of rain and light winds with lots of flash flooding. Sun is peeking out now and rain has stopped.

Endured the wind and rain last night and most of today...now the wind and rain have stopped. I am so thankful that just a few trees fell and the power loss did not last throughout the night! Hoping this storm passes quickly and continues to downgrade!
