I am so tired of all the xmass in July (and August!) shows!!! The ONLY good thing about them is I don't watch therefore I don't buy!!! I like CHristmas BUT only in December!!

@QVCkitty1 Why Not? Because some of us like it, in fact a whole lot of people like it, or they wouldn't have it. If I didn't like what was on, I'd just move on to another channel . I don't decorate a whole lot anymore but I do buy some of Valeries small things to decorate my table and window sills. I'm real excited to know what I have new.and I'll be excited to put them out.

I'm all for posts like the OP, simply stating her preferences for types of and quantity of programming. We all have a right to express our opinions and desires on these forums, especially about all things QVC.

What I am less tolerant of, is the barrage of threads that pop up every year at this time, demanding the programming stop, not be so frequent, not be so early in the year etc.

Some fail to see that the world isn't all about them, and that they have to share air time with people who might like things (shows and categories of merchandise) different from them.

Probably the same people that preach tolerance about social issues and other things, but don't practice it in their own lives.

Yes, I agree. I don't watch much QVC TV anymore but it seems to be that CIJ was scaled back this year. There were shows but not those non-stop shows. I think Evine only did one day. I do love Christmas, it's my favorite holiday and my favorite time of the year but I celebrate it when it actually comes. The idea of me buying a Christmas tree or Christmas cakes and cookies in July....makes me laugh.

Why does there have to be 500 threads about this exact subject here? Lots of people don't watch. No biggie. I watch or do something else because I'm not interested, but there are those who watch/buy, and that's the point. They are a retailer.

It just gets kind of old all this 'I don't watch this, so it must go away'. The world does not revolve around me, or anybody else.

I glanced at some of the stuff they were showing for CIJ...I swear some of it looks almost the same as five years ago! I am at the stage in my life where I am getting rid of lots of my holiday stuff ; the last thing I need is even more. When we can get into a smaller place and I can regroup, I will look at re-thinking what I put up for the holidays...but the things I saw online this year looked stale and dated.
