      <description>&lt;P&gt;Either. Only friend I've even know who pronounced it "ither" was originally from Canada and refused to give up her Canadian citizenship. She kept some of her language intact to make sure people knew she was Canadian! (It didn't work very well. We all knew it was an act.)&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;An English professor once told me that "either" pronunciation is correct, as long as you are consistent in the usage.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But if you follow the old rule when two vowels are in a row, "the first one does the walking, the second one does the talking", it should be "ither"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I always say either and neither.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
