I see someone who is getting older and putting on weight around the middle. Most of my life I couldn’t gain weight and ate anything anytime. DH and I are working out more with the Pilates chair exercises and work out mat.

I have always looked exactly like my Mom so I see her in the mirror, but she did not live to be as old as I am now. I think I have really aged over the past year - I guess it's inevitable.

I had my hair cut and colored last week; she did a great precision cut and it's all one length. I see a woman with a fantastic haircut looking back at me. I've had my ups and downs in life; as most people do but I don't carry it around on my face. When I'm feeling dragged down, I wear more makeup.

Then I usually notice spinach in my teeth or crumbs and think, "Wow...wonder how long THAT's been there...and why didn't someone tell me?"
