Is Everybody Happy?

I take care of my twin granddaughters about 3 days a week, maybe more, and they have Alexa. She plays children's songs, and one of them is "If you're Happy Clap your hands". When the girls hear that one they say "Happy" and clap their hands! So cute! They are 21 months now - love every stage of their little lives!! So cute, so sweet and they love me!

Your granddaughters sound adorable @gloriajean. I'm sure you're a wonderful grandmother. Children are a blessing from God.

I was in another thread last night and a woman @TeriK wrote in and has a gastrointestinal stromal tumor in her duodenum. She wrote that she was scared and that just made me feel so sad to hear that she is scared.

So, if you will pass her name along to your praying posse, she can really use the fortification. I told her once it got out, she would have many people praying for her.

I only meant to post one pic - I don't know what happened in the duplicates. I'm sorry that happened and I cannot correct it. At the left is Allie Jo, and Aria is on the right. Taken on Easter Sunday.

Elri - I do have a Glory of God Prayer Line that I started years ago, and I will put Teri on it for her healing for her tumor. I thank you for caring for her and I will pray, too, that she can be free of fear, but feel comforted and loved.

GLORIAJEAN,My 21month old granddaughter lives with me and oh my goodness is she wonderful. We are always singing songs clapping hands yelling hooray. It is a blessing to be able to watch her grow and learn new things everyday. What a joy! Em

They look somewhat like their Mom and also somewhat like their Dad.

They have their Mom's eyes.

The girls are adorable in their Easter attire, Gloria!! Allie is engrossed in something, while Aria is hamming it up! 😍 Glad they, like you, are happy and they know it!

We are, too... some days more than others, depending on what is going on. But always grateful to be deeply blessed by grace.

We're just back from the two-week Israel tour which was incredible!! I'll write you soon.

Gotta love those little ones! I have a 4 year old grand niece who spends two afternoons a week at my house now that she's in kindergarten. Last year, she spent one whole day a week with me. Thank heaven's I work from home! It does take a village to raise kids now and I'm glad I was there to cover the childcare gaps. I love her to pieces. She's so funny and bright and charming. I listen to her in the other room singing or dancing to her music and I just smile all over. I have to grandbabies but they are 16 months and 15 months. I can't wait for them to get to 3 or 4 years old....so we can really have some fun.

Yes but tired. My grandson's due date was yesterday and since my sweet granddaughter was born on her due date three years ago. My DDL thought the same would happen again. All night last night I dreamed my phone kept going off and I kept waking up and checking it, nothing. I even dreamed I was talking to some one that I had not slept well the night before. So here I sit 15 min. from leaving my office barely able to keep my eyes open and still a no show from my little Liam. But I am happy. Love to all our Grandbabies @gloriajean and all the other ladies.

Moving onto a new night tonight.

Thanks for asking, Kachina624, Darla is the same, lots of pain that EDS brings in her back. She tries hard not to take Vicodin, but sometimes she has to for the pain. I keep praying she will be healed, it's so hard for me to see her suffer so much and not be able to do things with her girls as she would love to. My other daughter is going to school for being a RN, and she has to write a paper on a disease, she chose to write on EDS, and Darla is helping her with the research. It doesn't look good at all, but I keep praying and keeping my hopes up. Thinking positive.

Thanks all for your wonderful responses here!! Tomorrow I am with those precious girls again!! New words every day!! What fun!! I make pancakes for them on Tuesdays, when I come there I ask" Who likes pancakes? They say "I do!" And they do!

So do their parents!!

@gloriajean. Although these are hard times for the adults in the family, the girls will undoubted remember these days and those to come, with great love and affection. Most grandmothers don't have such a close, warm relationship with their grandchildren. In that aspect, you're very fortunate.
