Hello my friends! Hope your day is going well and positive in every way!! The contingent offer we had is over, and the new offer will be the new owners. Next is inspection within the next 5 days. Closing is Oct. 2nd. Thanks to St. Joseph for being in charge of everything just because we asked him to. Today is a laid back day for me, like yesterday, just not feeling ambitious, but am getting better now. Tomorrow we'll be busy again with raspberries, and more garden supplies. That's coming to an end. Today I had a nice nap, and sure felt I needed it! Harlene, sure will pray for your little pets, it's always hard when something is wrong with a pet. Praying everything will be alright soon.

Today let me find simple ways to bring joy to others. Lord, when I feel

that I have nothing to give, give me the confidence to believe in myself

so that I can touch the hearts of those around me.

I can have faith, no matter what may come my way. I can be patient,
even in the midst of troubles. I need not fear the strain of life,
because I believe that God knows how much I can bear and will be there
to help me. I can look to the future with confidence. I know that
God will not ask me to bear anything that could overcome or destroy
me.

I pray that I may put this day in the hands of God I pray for faith,
so that nothing will upset me or weaken my determination to live in
God's way.

Note: While these invocations are apparently addressed to the Holy Cross, in fact, we are praying to Jesus Christ hanging on the cross. Just as on Good Friday we have the ceremony which we call the Veneration, or even Adoration of the Cross, but, in fact, we are venerating or adoring the: One hanging on the cross. The Cross itself is simply a piece of wood, used as an instrument of our salvation. When we come to kiss the cross, it is the Body of Christ that we kiss, and not the wood of the cross itself.

September 14 - Jesus Calling

Worship Me by living close to Me. This was My original design for man, into whom I breathed My very breath of Life. This is My desire for you: that you stay near Me as you walk along your life-path. Each day is an important part of that journey. Although you may feel as if you are going nowhere in this world, your spiritual journey is another matter altogether, taking you along steep, treacherous paths of adventure. I give thanks for having the liberty and privleges of choice. I can choose what I need or not. I can refuse something and let it go. I can accept something in my life to love, care for, cherish, appreciate. I am so very blessed here in the USA. Saying 'NO' can be quite a blessing as well as 'YES'.
