Hello my friends! Thanks to all of you who very faithfully are praying for us to sell our house! I so appreciate it! Today we got an offer and closing will be October 2nd. Praise Be Jesus!!! And Thanks to St. Joseph for helping us get the sale. I thought after we moved, and the house was empty it would sell better - and it did this morning!!! That is a great big blessing! We won't have to make anymore double payments then! This place is starting to look like home. Unpacking is done, but pictures are not up yet, still so much to do! Thanks Love Roses for your sharing that this is a positive thread, that's for sure!! And a prayerful one, too, and supportive. Thanks Jubilant for your post too!! Thanks for praying for the sale of our house - prayers are answered for that!!! Now I'm praying to get over a bladder infection - that I"m sure comes with all this stress. It'll go, it has to go away!

Gloria, great news that your home is sold. Won't wonders ever cease. Now, you can take a deep breath and relax over the many concerns you've had for your home being sold, and your daughters living nearby.

We have our last hot days of the summer here. I give oh so many thanks for the blessing of forced air conditioning.

To the posters: Whatever prayers or meditative thoughts you may have, I ask for some concerning two people that are around my activities. One woman is an unhappy crabby female and needs to go away where she will find a purpose and another is a man who needs to release his anger and stubborness which affects me and others.

Be at peace and know that all are loved.

Enjoyed the "You are" for my devotions this morning. The verse in Jeremiah 31 really spoke to me. My health has been a real challenge this past year. I would appreciate your prayers.

Congratulations on selling the house Gloria, I am so happy for you and Linus.

I was pretty busy yesterday and I didn't even get a chance to read the Thread, so I had to catch up today. We are getting company on Saturday, Dave's brother and sister in law who live in Connecticut are visiting her sister in New Jersey and are coming here for dinner.

I knew the good Lord would come through for you.

If some people think this Thread is too religous, no one said you have to read it.

Congratulations on the sale oof your home. That is a big relief for sure.

Selling a home and downsizing is not easy--I know we did it 5 yars ago.It is quite stressfull.

Now you can relax and concentrate on putting the finishing touches on your new abode.

Yes, Julie, we are very happy that we could sign papers today - only thing is that the contingent offer is less and if they come up with the money by Monday the house is theirs. But anyway, it's going to be sold!

Jubilant - I will pray for you for your health. I pray God sends His healing power upon you! I have a bad bladder infection now, will get antibiotics in the morning, but I know that will go away then. I'm sure with all the stress it started to act up. Anyway let us pray for one another.

This is something I have always been taught while growing up, and teaching my family 'exactly' what Happiness is, in our mind and the way we live.

I have some exciting news. At least to me it's wonderful. My 17 yr. old grandson is being baptized Sunday!

He made a decision for Christ and now wants to express it through baptism. I am truely thankful and beside myself with joy!!! Sunday can't get here soon enough!
