Hi,

I uesd to be on with GJ and friends and then took a long year+ off and now it's done by another poster and it's just pictures. Can someone explain the change?

I could be totally wrong but I think that GJ's threads became to religioius, or what she was posting was against the 'rules' of the forums.

Was GJ the women who was quoting inspirational material without citing them to the person who wrote them?

I also think the original "Postive" posts became too religious and the poster was posting things without citing the source...that's plagarism. There is a difference between inspirational and religous.

Thank you! I remember there was some problems for her and she also had others do the daily when she was on vacation. Just wondered why the OP kept the name and posted pictures.

I met many delightful people on the old post.

Jackhound Mom - I'm glad you liked that Daily Positive Thread, but they changed the rules and I got a call from Melvin at QVC saying that nothing religious could be on there anymore. It was going for nine years, and then I had to stop it. Lots of nice posters I've met on there, that's for sure.

I don't come here often, but I did this morning and saw your post and thought I'd respond with what really happened.

@Jackhound Mom~ It's my understanding, that the OP after Gloriajean was @Bellabutterfly. Sadly though, she (Bellabutterfly) became ill while undergoing chemo. Also, the last we heard, Bella's mom had been hospitalized and was very ill, so Bella was trying to get to see her mom.

@It was @Bellabutterfly's wish that someone keep the Positive Thread going while she was away, so I believe it was @butterfly123 that took it over for Bella. Since then however, butterfly123 had taken some time away to be with a dear friend that was ill...however, @butterfly123 has become ill herself, including her DH who had a tragic accident.

So as it is now, @cotton4me and @SleeplessinSD have both been kind enough to keep the thread going... and all because it was Bella's wish that we don't let the thread go.

And again, if I'm not mistaken, @Bellabutterfly started this thread to continue on @gloriajean's Positive messages. Yes, it's mostly all inspiritional pictures because that's what had been decided when the thread was started.

@gloriajean ... I don't know if you remember me from about 5 years ago. My nic then was LoveMyHandbags. I used to stop by once in a while. I was always so amazed how you wrote such beautiful inspirational thoughts every night. I wanted to stop by and say thank you (and Hello!) for having that beautiful thread. @AuntG ... I really enjoy the pictures with inspirational thoughts that these kind ladies are leaving. I'm going through a hard time right now so I really enjoy reading these. Gloriajean put a lot of time into that thread. I'm very happy these dear ladies are keeping this thread going. They may be just pictures to you that you see on Facebook, but they are special to me just the way they are.

Edited to add ... The moderator checked this over before allowing it to post. In doing so some sentences' font size are now tiny and I don't know how to change it back.

@EastCoastGal~ Yes, I believe they're about a year and a half now.. so sweet and as precious as can be! I heard from Gloria and she said she'd be here in a little bit. She just got home.

Finally got here now!! LoveMyHandbags - so nice to hear from you again!! Yes, many wonderful posters I've met on the Daily Positive Thread, now they won't let me even give my email out so I can still communicate, grounds for banning! My oldest daughter presented us with Identical Twn Girls 16 months ago and we've been helping to take care of them since they were 2 weeks old and what a beautiful blessing they are to us!! My daughter has Ehler's Danlos Syndrome, which is hypermobility, and with that she has severe back pain, so she needs someone there to help her. She also teaches at the University here, part time because of her disabillity. We keep praying she gets some relief. Thanks for letting me meet up with you again!
