Does the QVC live Audience Get to eat (sample) any of the food?

I am watching the Sunday show with David and there's a live audience (haven't seen them, but hear them). I'm wondering if they ever get to sample some of the food they are selling?

The British guy was just selling his pies and there are tons on the table. I was wondering if the audience gets to sample some of these food items that the lights haven't ruined?

@Annabellethecat66, I do not know about now, but quite a few years ago, I was at a Christmas show that David and Rick did and they passed around samples of the food. They personally did not, but staff passed the food around during the show. It was late evening and fairly dark in the studio, so I doubt anyone on tv could see us eating.

@SXMGirl Thanks for the answer. I remember at one time seeing people who were picked out of the audience sitting at a table and eating some things.

I think regular TV cooking shows (I don't watch them) but I've seen Rachael Ray used to pick people to sit and eat at a round table near her.

I was just curious.

I would hope so. Otherwise, a huge waste of food.

I have seen them give food samples to the live audience on some shows in the past, but today's show did not have an audience. They were not in the studio that seats an audience.

I heard one of the hosts say quite awhile ago that the food they demo does not go to waste. The crew gets to eat the food.

I imagine they pass samples around after the show ends.
