Providence to Boston Question

Thinking of a last minute trip to Providence and over to Newport. We were there years ago and need travel suggestions.

I think we can make a day trip to Boston on a Saturday? Is this on Amtrac and not the commuter line? Which station to arrive in Boston to go to Quincy Market etc.

Any other ideas?

Yes, Amtrak goes from Providence to Boston.

You can go straight up rt 95 in less than an hour as well.

Thanks, we will have a car so we will just take on I-95 like a local.

We are really prone to motion sickness. Is the FAST ferry really as smooth as reported? This is the only option to take a day trip to MV. Hope the Dramamine works!

We will have 4 full days for day trips from Providence.

I hope the city has "Fire Water" while you're in Providence...it's BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
