I tried it once and it's disgusting. So much dust. It bothered me so I can imagine little pet lungs being exposed to this.

I was warned by the director of an animal shelter who works with veterinary clinics. I didn't see a need to investigate it further. I just wanted to pass along what I was told.

I don't understand. We use it here and it isn't dusty.... thought it was great. Ugh. I'm going to have to look it up and see what the issue could possibly be ..

We use it and have no problem. We do have a domed litter box, though.

I googled it, and there are pages about it. I copied one for viewing, since none was posted yet. If these claims are true, it shouldn't be on the market. I used it once to try, but didn't like it.

I also found an article on snopes that said there was no real evidence that the reports on social media were true, and only rumors. I don't know. I got to thinking when I used it, I noticed the fine powder was static clinging to my cats. So, when they groom themselves, they would consume some. So, whether it's a true or false claim, I don't want my cats eating the stuff litter is made from.

I used it for a while and if your kitties tinkle on their feet or if they get wet it sticks to their paws and then they lick it off. That is what was happening to mine. I don't know what the article is about. I don't open links.

I am bringing mine back. I just bought one this afternoon. I don't want to take any chances. Bootsie was at a outside mall and came to see me so you can say see picked me first. I than got my son to take me and bring her home to live. She is black and white and the sweetest cat. Sandy I went to a shelter. I have many cats and I couldn't live if I heard and something happened to them.

There are soooo many on sheves, which kind in particular? what brands?

what is it made of? seems many are going light-weight.

what about the pine kind that is like saw dust? not the pine pellets, the fine saw dust kind, is it ok to use?

i use the pine pellets and it turns to feather weight saw dust when urine dissolves it.

very good I thought. no heavy sand to scrape from litter boxes and weigh down trash can.

any more info on kinds or brands not to use?
