Those Tuffy Toys are pretty good. My son's dog had one for about 2 years before he threw it away and replaced it with another one exactly like it. Amazon has a variety and the one shown here is what he has for her.

He wants soft fluffy, noisy toys.

I resigned myself to that fact and buy his toys at TJMaxx, Ross and Big Lots, where at least I'm not paying a lot for them.

Good luck on your mission!

I feel your pain! We have an 80lb. pup that goes through all those "indestructible" toys in a minute. She eats through (and literally eats) all sorts of toys and can go through the toughest of chew toys in no time. If she likes it, it's toast.

I also would recommend the various Kong toys. We started out using them filled with tasties to keep her occupied in her crate. Now she'll play with them unfilled. They do show wear and tear, but they're still around. However, they don't hold her interest for a real long time. Anything that will do that gets destroyed.

Good luck! And if you do find anything that holds up, let us know!

I've had 2 tough chewers. None of the cloth toys, even rated super tough, lasted more than 2 days. Kongs are tough, and I've had good luck with Nylabones, both the hard ones, and the ones meant to be chewed up. With the latter you have to watch that the pieces aren't choking size; my current dog just spits them out. Also, check out toys that require some work to get the reward. I think tough chewers are often intelligent and a little bored.

I always have German Shepherds and they can chew thru or crush a toy in no time. The two newest dogs we have just love to play fetch. I found the KONG toys (made in USA) in black (aggressive chewers) stand up to them. They come in different sizes depending on your dogs mouth size.

Flying around and getting a bit filthy, but not even a tear! The tag says "go dog" with chew guard technology made by quaker pet group llc. If I ever see another in stores i'll certainly buy more! It is the cutest little pig with wings.

One of my poodles enjoys destroying her toys. However, the American Classic stuffed animals last quite some time. She will not rip them apart the same way she does with other brands. She is still playing with a few she received as Christmas presents.

I've got a 130 lb mastiff and three 15 - 26 lb terriers ...the small dogs are much tougher on toys than the mastiff. The so-called indestructible Zogoflex toys from westpawdesign.com have lasted the longest so far. I also recently purchased some antler-shaped chew toys from Petco that are part deer antler and part some other material (I forget what it is). They're made in USA, so I figured I'd give them a try ... two weeks and they're still holding up.

I can't buy soft toys ... either the small dogs rip them up in 2-3 minutes or the mastiff eats them ... so they're no longer allowed in the house.

I have a rescue Wolfhound and she is a power chewer. She managed to destroy kongs in 30 minutes. I did find a bone that she hasn't been able to destroy and we have had it for 2 years now. It is a Bionic chew toy and is orange in color and does come in different sizes. I bought mine at Petco, but haven't seen it there lately. I think Amazon carries them. We paid $25 for it. The other thing she can't destroy is a round treat ball. She has to work to figure out how to get the treats out of it, and it has different levels of difficulties you choose as doggie learns how to do it, so she doesn't get "bored".

The ones our pups chew on (and last) the longest we get at the local feed store.
