Let’s share! names you call your pets?

I'm inspired by @Tinkrbl44 amd her wonderful post today. We all do it, right? What are the high-pitched, loving, mushy names you call your cat or dog baby? I have many! I often call them Baby-cakes, sweetie-pie, and I sometimes add "meister" to their name to form a new, endearing name. I have a cat named, Darby, for example....and I sometimes call her the "Darb-meister!" I also just transform their name into a form that ends with "ie." For example, my cat, Claudius, is often just called Claudee. Anybody else have mushy names for your fur babies?

I have many names for my adorable pets. I have 2 Shelties and 3 Parrots so here goes: Baby, honey, sweetie girl, rascalette, noodle, girlie, My African Gray's name is Booker and I call him Mr. Book, Bookie, Gonzalez (my little parrot, his name is Squeky, but I have always also called him Gonzalez), Chancie (my dog Chance, I just lost him in July), Pretty Girl. My parrot, Rosie, is very cheeky and I often call her Little Rascal or the Rascalette. Love them all, and funny, they answer to all of their names.

Our cat's name is Winter Friday. He is mostly called Winny. I do call him Baby Kitty although he is an elder cat now he weighs nine pounds. Our other cat was 22 pounds and as big as a small dog.

My boy's name is Brody. I'm not that imaginative but often call him Hon, Bro and Baby Boy.

P.S. My 'Baby Boy' is a 103#, 6' when standing on hind legs German Shepherd. He likes being Baby Boy, but can sometimes generate strange look from visitors.

Currently I have two grey and white cats. One was a feral, whom I brought inside about three years ago, when she was about 5. Her name is Mia. The other cat, was turned outside by her owner in another city. I heard about her situation and decided to adopt her. I call her Graycie or Graycie Girl.

I call my 16 and 9 month dog Jake, Jakie Poo because that's what his former owner who passed affectionately called him.

I call him Jake DiMera from a character on Days of Our Lives, and Jacob.

Every time I feed Jake I toast him L'Chaim long live the King..and that would be you Jake!
He waits for me to say it 😂 !

Nicknamed our gray cat Romeo, because he seemed to attract a lot of the neighborhood females. He was an indoor cat, but when he sat in the window above the patio, Zoey, Dot, and Lilly, the cats who lived next door, would keep him company below on a lawn chair. So cute👩

Iv'e had many cats over the years and several at a time, but now only have one. Her name is Squeaky, but I mostly call her "Pequeno" which means "little" in Spanish. I have been studying Spanish for years. Now she has added a few pounds due to a medication she is on, so I call her "Pequeno Grande" for, "Biggie Small" haha! As for my other cats I have had, most of them had at least 3 to 4 nicknames, and interstingly enough, they responded to them all. I think it's funny how I come up with the ones I do, not because I had heard them before, but they just happen, and somehow seem to fit each one.

Nicknames I've called my boy dogs: Boo boo, Sugar Pot, Pop, Poppy, Poppy Head, Precious.

Nicknames I've called my girl dogs: Muffin, Mommy, Grandmom, Sweet Pea, Sugar, Angel Bear, Precious, Goobie.

My dogs always knew (and responded) to both their real names and nicknames.

I have Simba, Blizzard (all white w/2 different colored eyes), Miss Kitty (from Gunsmoke), Binx (from Hocus, Pocus) and Olivia Benson (Obvious)She's all white and long hair so sometimes I call her Fluffer. My avatar is Louie, he passed away last new year's eve. I didn't give him the name. He was given to me by my friend who became allergic. It was a very tearful occasion when she gave him up.

I few years ago I acquired a black cat named Gerry Garcia!!! The woman who gave him to me had the cat from her daughter who was a drug addict. Hence the name.

When I was a little girl we had dog I named Candy Sue. She was a spaniel.

@KailaS Hi Kaila....it's ME, Kitty. I came from a situation where my previous "mama" moved and LEFT ME BEHIND. I picked a house with an old lady that I thought would LOVE me.

My new mama called me "Kitty" because she didn't know my name, but thought I might be used to also being called "Kitty"...
