Love my orange and white tabby. He was a rescue from storms in Louisiana. He is almost three now, his name is Roux. We wanted a Cajun name. Roux was Johnny Depp's name in the movie Chocolat, one of my favorites. 💗💗

An oddity. I am not generally allergic to cats, only individual cats. Nearly 100% of them are orange!

That first picture is amazing!

The only "orange" cat I ever had was an orange & white rescue that we named Charlie. He had the deepest orange color I've ever seen--more like a red orange. Charlie was also the biggest cat I've ever had...25 lbs. and not fat at all!

Charlie came to us at 2.5 years old. We think he'd been fed only table scraps his whole life, and also acted like he'd been abused. Sadly, we lost him 3 years later to fatty liver disease (which he'd had before while in rescue). But we gave him the 3 happiest years of his life. He was a very sweet, affectionate cat despite his previous treatment.

I had an orange cat born on my birthday! My mother had told me there were no kittens (lie!) and the neighbor's cat had kittens in our dog house ON MY BIRTHDAY.

So God wanted me to have a cat and I got my orange cat!

I have loved marmalade cats since I was a little girl.

We have had a lot of cats, but the most special one was a male marmalade cat. He was a rescue, an abandoned, dirty, scruffy street cat.

For a couple of weeks, he had been hanging out at a friends house and she had been feeding him, along with her cats.

Every time I went there, he would talk to me. One night he jumped onto the hood of my car and refused to get down.

He wanted to come home with me and my friend said take, him, he does not seem to have a home. So, he came home with me. The vet thought that he was about three years old.

I cleaned him up and fattened him up. He was beautiful and his fur got fuller and fluffier. He was orange, long hair with a white bib and white double paws. We named him Ollie.

He was the most lovable and affectionate lap cat. He loved my grandchildren too. He would play fetch with pinecones and acorns. He loved hide and seek and to be chased around the yard.

He talked to us all the time and slept with us. He acted almost

human, he was the sweetest cat.

He lived with us for ten years, before he got cancer and went to the Rainbow Bridge. His ashes are scattered in our garden, where he loved to play and lounge in the sun.

My cat, Simone, is an orange tabby. She is a lap cat and is the sweetest thing. Likes to talk when she plays with her toys.

One of my sons cats is an orange tabby cat. He is what I like to call "high maintenance" LOL. His name is Butch and he is a bad a** and quite spoiled. We all love him though!

That cat created with oranges is amazing, a stand out! I love orange cats, Maine Coons, Persian, Tuxedos, Calico, Tiger cats, cats of all colors and back rounds!!!! My favorites are those with personalities and so many have them!!!! All cats are welcome in my humble abode!!!!!
