Holy Cow, They Were Sitting Together !!

Last night I heard thunder and rain drops. I went to check and make sure it wasn't coming in the window.

When I parted the curtains, there they were...............Tess and Petunia sitting on the same windowsill. Granted, they were a foot and a half apart but was I surprised. I thought finally a truce.

An hour later it was back to normal..I heard a hiss and looked over to see Tess with her paw in the air and her "get away from me kid" face on. Petunia had her back arched and was on her toes bouncing around Tess. The queen was not amused with the court jester.

At least they were "friends" for 5 minutes.

@on the bay LOL. No writer here. I just call them like I see them.

It is funny, Tess comes to me when "the Pill" is sleeping in another room, sits down and stares at me. She knows there is a treat bag on the end table. She sits patiently while I very quietly open the bag and give her a couple.

If I make too much noise little bat ears comes running to scare Tess off. Petunia can be sound asleep in another room but hears that darn treat bag.

@Desertdi Thanks, but no writing. The kicker is I was never around cats until I married. My MIL had a Siamese cat and in the country every barn had cats.

I was a dog person but whenever I went in someone's barn every cat and kitten came running for attention to try and convert me to the other (cat) side.

I used to ask my husband "why do they come to me, I'm not a cat person."

Fast forward 50 years and I have 2 indoor cats and feed every stray in a 2 mile radius.

The little devils converted me. Who knew.

The description of P doing the "halloween cat pose" dance around unamused Tess literally made me laugh hard!
