Health Canada is recalling Carnivora Fresh Frozen Patties for Dogs and Cats due to possible contamination with E. coli O157.

E. coli O157 is a particularly dangerous strain of bacteria which can cause serious and life-threatening illness in both pets and humans.

@GingerPeach If even one animal is saved from getting sick or worse, it is well worth being redundant and/or annoying.....but you are neither!

I appreciate it - fortunately my kiddencat (I call him that because he's so clowny!) doesn't eat those listed.

Shadow (my cat) says you are PURRRRFECT for keeping an eye out for him.

That's so sweet, @MoonieBaby Thank you for the kind words from you and your Shadow. It's not always easy to get recognition from a cat so please tell him I'm honored.

(I've never had a food I give my dogs be involved in any of the recalls either. I hope it stays that way!)
