Nick Chavez Beauty Thread.

Since there's no Nick Chavez sub-forum, someone suggested to start a thread for it until QVC adds one. So thank you for the person who suggested this idea.

So if any new Nick Chavez products I hear about, I'll just post it in this thread. Or if anyone wants to talk about Nick Chavez products, there's a thread here to do so.

Since it seems not many people know about this (at least I don't think they do), Nick has a new product called the Easy Styler. It's a three in one hair styling tool. It's a hot brush, a flat iron and a curling iron. It also has a low setting and a high setting. It even shuts off after 30 minutes when not in use. So far, it's not being sold separately, but as a kit. It comes with the Velvet Mesquite serum (can be used on skin and hair) and the Velvet Mesquite hairspray. So far, it's not sold on QVC, but it is sold on Nick's website.

Another thing that I would love for Nick to bring to QVC are his nail polish kits. One is the Glam Collection kit, that comes with soft petal pink polish, dark chocolate polish, silver polish and a glittery top coat.

The other is the Pastel Chic kit, that comes with blue polish, lavender polish, misty green polish, raspberry polish and a clear top coat.

I agree, I use Nick's yucca shampoo, leave in conditioner, and hairspray with argan oil. My hair is fine and I wear it short and I get a great blow out with these products. I would love for the Q to bring his nail polish to the US.

I saw that Easy Styler when it was on sale for $69. I went back to get it a few days later and it was $162.99

I do love me some Nick, but I passed at that price. My favorite is his Amazon Infinity Mist.

I love Nick's products. I've been using them since he started on QVC back in the '90's. I've got to check out the Easy Styler. I just wish QVC had him on more often like they use to many years ago. I love Nick and his high energy presentations. He seems like such a sweet guy.

Just wanted to let anyone who's interested know that Nick Chavez will be on QVC USA this Wednesday at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT. One of the items he will be showing is the Velvet Mesquite Serum that can be used on the hair and the skin. Another good thing is that Nick Chavez will be on for a whole hour.

I'm glad Nick is finally getting some attention here. He has great products. I am amazed at the results I am getting with his Mesquite serum. It leaves my hair with no frizz, lots of body, and lots of shine. I didn't know he had a mesquite hair spray - will definitely try that. I'm also looking at his Yucca shampoo and conditioner. Lots of good reviews for these products.

Some interesting things I just noticed at Nick Chavez' website. Nick has some new items (new to me anyway) that caught my eye, so I'll list some of them below.

~Color-Saver Paraben-Free Conditioner. It says it replenishes the characteristics of young hair and helps protect hair from the elements, thermal appliances, etc.

~Liquid Silk Blow-Out Smoother. It says that it's something that smooths down the frizz in hair and is resistant to humidity. It also says it's safe to use on natural, colored or chemically treated hair. Another thing that I saw is that it says you can let it dry in your hair naturally for a natural look without volume.

I love, love, love Nick Chavez products. Saturday, I received my Easy Styler which I ordered directly from his salon website. I really like it. I have ordered a couple of styling tools as TSV's that cost at least twice as much. I returned one and gave the other to my daughter. I have used Nick's products since he came to QVC. My hair is in excellent condition. The Mesquite Serum also came as part of the packaged deal with the Easy Styler. It really made my hair shine, but didn't make it look or feel greasy. I wish he was on more often. The number of Nick's products that are sold by QVC has also changed. There are fewer kits which were always a great price. I will be watching Wednesday. Thanks for starting this thread. Maybe, the powers that be will realize that Nick has a lot of customers that miss his TSV's and would like to see more of his shows.

You're welcome. I tried the Traditions Yucca Root shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo restored the natural color in my hair and made the curls quite bouncy. A small note. When Nick says to only use a small amount of conditioner, he means it. I used too much of the Yucca Root conditioner the first time or two and it made my hair a little too dry. I think the reason for that is because the Yucca Root conditioner is very thick (comes out like toothpaste) and has next to no water in it. Hope it works well for you.

You're welcome. I checked the difference between the selection on Nick's website and the selection on QVC's website. Looks like Nick is offering more products at his website.

I have read some great reviews on his Raindrops Purifying Spray..I think it is only sold in a kit here at the Q, but as a single on his website...If I understand it right, kind of like maybe rinsing in "purified" water...(Would love to try it if I ever catch up on all my easy pays!!) -

Unfortunately, yes the Traditions Raindrops is only sold as a set with the Traditions Yucca Root shampoo and conditioner on QVC. I did see when Nick was explaining about the Traditions Raindrops (had to watch the presentation on QVC Italy) that it's good for neutralizing the effects of hard water on the hair.

Thanks for starting the thread NCB! I really love Nick's products. I have now set my DVR to record all his shows because I like hearing him explain what each product does, and how to use it. We seldom get to see Nick on QVC unfortunately, and he's fun to watch. He has so much energy. I hope Jangroomer sees this thread-she's one of his clients.

You're welcome. I also like that about Nick. He explains everything the product does and gets right to the point. Quite a few people didn't seem to know that Nick was coming on. I'm guessing QVC didn't go out of their way to even show a commercial that he was going to be on in a couple of days. I had to read the small writing of it in the description of one of his products. I'm hoping when Nick comes on, there will be some easy pays and free shipping.

Another fun thing I've found. If you go to QVC Italy and QVC Germany, you can watch his presentations. He speaks English, but the hosts don't. Which is fine because you can still understand what Nick is saying (the language translator speaks after he speaks, doesn't talk over him). QVC Italy has presentations for almost all of Nick's products.

Congrats Tuppermore for getting his styler at that price. I got the e-mail, however, with the distraction of having company in from out of town, I waited too late to order and missed the Flash sale price : ( If you like Nick's products - sign up for the emails. He often has great offers like the one Tuppermore got.
