Review Time!!!!

UPS must just love me; 5 boxes arrived.

I'm not going to review items that are reorders but the new items we've all been drooling over.

1) Trench: This is amazing. I don't know what to say. The black is elegant and I'm hoping my size 14 waitlist goes through. This is going to family member who has been wanting a Burberry for a long time; I think she'll be pleased : )

The RED Trench. OMG. Scarlet. The woman in red. The Scarlet of Colonial Williamsburg capes. I mean...it is GORGEOUS. My husband just went " Cor, blimey. That is fantastic on you, luv!!" Lol. The length is perfect, the fit is perfect. Ladies, this red is just striking and this coat is a classic. Heavy weight, let me tell ya.

2) Sequin pants: Ordered these in a Medium and a Small based on what I read and heard about the fit. The Medium is staying, the Small is being returned (didn't even open it). Already called CS and told them I exchanged one for the other so no charge to return. This is not your Las Vegas sequin pant. This is an elegant, sophisticated pant that can be worn with anything as the cut is simple and classic. Fit is comfy and I can wear it with any height heel- no flats as it would drag.

3) Cardigan: Went down a size and purchased a Medium in Black and Forest Green (purchased the Forest Green WK turtleneck as well). Smart move on my part because the Large would have been too much. These are soft, comfy and the perfect length without being overwhelming. Love them.

4)Suede pants: Ok. Just as I thought. Extra length was gained by going with a bigger size. If I hold up a size 2 or 4, it stops above my ankles but a size 12/14 is much longer- this is how it works with any pant I've every purchased. So it is with these. The length breaks at the perfect spot for wearing flats (not short in any way) and works well with my boots. I have no hips but a gut (hello excess skin) so they flow straight down and move beautifully. And they look just like suede. I don't know how he did it, but they do. Purchased in the black and caramel. These are beautiful.

Other items ordered were the swing cardigan in black, the swing turtleneck in Scarlet, the swing blouse that is not 100% cotton (not sure about this), the zip cardigan in mink (wearing it with a black turtleneck, jeans and boots to an outdoor Harvest event) and the Ivory Swing topper (to wear with the sequined pants on Christmas Eve).

The man is a genius.

I so agree with you! I have 2 trenches and the sequin pants and love them. My faux suede pants are on the way. Thanks for your review.

Love the green suede pants...got them a few days ago. I ordered the sequin pants at midnight the day they were available and I'm still waiting for delivery.

@SahmIam Great reviews! I'm sure my UPS guy will be cursing me later this week Still nervous about sizing on the sequin & faux suede pants--always trips me up. Last minute, instead of ordering two sizes, I made a choice. Hope it's the right one or I'll be stalking for awhile. My trenches should be just fine, if they send me the right size. Shipping the wrong sizes has become a thing right now with QVC.

Glad you're happy with what you've received thus far. Yay on the length of the pants for you, too!

A few of my items were just delivered today, earlier than expected!! Love UPS. USPS, not so much. lol

Faux Suede Pant & Sequin Pant--Held my breath on sizing for these pants. Happily they BOTH fit! Phew. I ordered the caramel in my usual size (as Louis suggested), instead of sizing up, and it's a perfect fit. LOVE them. Will get lots of wear out of them & now wish I'd snapped up a black. The sequined pant...OMG. Preaching to the choir here, but these are truly amazing. Stunning. classy, quiet elegance. Just perfect in every way. As @SahmIam summed up so well...these are not "Las Vegas pants." Fit-wise, I stayed with my usual size (Medium) because of the click here measurements. Usually, this is a pant I'd size up in, but I'm so glad I resisted. The drape is beautiful. Slimming leg that breaks mid-way, so I can wear flats or kitten heels.

Long Cardigan--Purchased in caramel in my usual size (medium) and the fit is spot on. Not too big at all. Love the length, softness, pockets and drape. Tried it on with the faux suede pants and the colors match so much better in person than on TV. Put on a pair of animal print flats in camel/brown and LOVE everything about it. I also bought the caramel carnival necklace, leather/knit jacket & turtleneck, which gives me lots of options. Didn't expect to be all-in on caramel, but here I am! lol

Waiting (unpatiently) for the rest of my haul.

@GraceCO, can you please comment on the length of the suede pants? I recall you are also tall. I refrained from ordering as I didn’t like the length in Kate. What do you think?

@NJgirl 1205 Not Grace but I'll tell you that being 6ft tall, these worked perfectly for me in a size 14. I recall Kate wearing a 2 or a 4 and these sizes are much shorter length wise than a 12/14. I know it shouldn't matter but when you're that tall and that slender, it is going to be shorter.

My sequin pants arrived! They are everything I knew they would be. The sequins are lovely, they shimmer when the light catches it. The drape is beautiful, especially when you walk. The inner lining is a very soft knit against the skin, the sequins are on a very fine net overlay, soft for draping, I know it was described as a knit but it is very, very fine, lightweight, soft netting. The overlay and the lining are tacked at the bottom only by a long thread, so it will be easy for those who need to have it shortened. I am 5'9" and the length is perfect. I ordered my regular size but I should have gone down a size. They are truly beautiful. I love how they move when you walk. The word is languid, liquid with the sequins catching the light like a firefly in summer! I am beyond thrilled!

Just like @SahmIam I puchased the size 14's and they hit me at the low ankle. I'm 5'9 & will wear flats & flat-heeled boots. I think it all depends on whether you're long-legged or not. I fall somewhere in the middle. I expected these to be much shorter, based on the fit on Kate & fit more like the slim ankle pants A265615. These are longer. Worth a try IMO. Are you 5'9" too?

Like others, all my items arrived today in a pyramid of boxes and bags on the front step while I was out, by UPS, that's why so fast.

I usually go on and on, and I probably still will, but all I can say is WOW to everything I received, just wow, Louis is a genius and we are so very fortunate. You can tell his hand in every aspect of these clothes, the experience, the deft technique, the fabrics and fit, his desire to make us happy when we wear them.

What says it all is my DH who really never says much, but this time.....I tried on the velvet/crepe dress with loads of long and short real pearls cascading down the front from choker to very long, DQ earrings and my lovely Chanel looking flats - black tweed/patent. I strolled downstairs to the kitchen and asked him if I was too formal for going to the car wash???

I have never seen him look so stunned, and he actually stammered, ha! Then I tried it on with the faux pearl/diamond choker he got me last spring and came down again and he was still stammering and got a bit choked up when he saw me wearing the necklace.

I think I'll not tell him the price on this dress, as it looks like it cost a fortune.

So I said well, if you don't like the Downton Abbey look, I can try something more Chanel and modern. Wore same shoes, black sequin pants (GENIUS!!!) and A302549, the black handkerchief hem tunic blouse that is like a heavy silk, and the same necklace and earrings.

He LOVED it. That's what I'll wear to the black tie event and of course keep the dress for next time or whenever.

The sequin pants are ridiculously flattering and gorgeous. My size fit just right, I had quickly cancelled the smaller size so I have no returns.

To top it off I also got the DFG super ponte pants, perfect, and the piece de resistance, the BLACK TRENCH. I threw it on over the sequin pants outfit and I have to say the person in the mirror was no one I knew, too fabulous by far to be moi.

I haven't shown him the trench yet, plan on wearing it this week to a downtown meeting we have, as I wanted to avoid total heart failure on his part.

This had me thinking - we don't wear enough gorgeous clothing like this! Men love women in beautiful clothes, just as we enjoy surrounding ourselves with things of beauty too.

I shall be wearing those sequin pants out to dinner with a black sweater and feel wonderful. Or a winter white blouse.....or the black blazer.....so many things look terrific with these incredible pants.

Hope everyone is as pleased as I with their "stuff"!!

@GraceCOThanks! Yes, I too am 5’9. What thew me was that Kate is not leggy and they looked short. Maybe I’ll try them out and see.

The Trench ...
I feel like Ingrid Bergman at the Casablanca Airport ... The caramel is exquisite. I also received the red scarlet, both in petite. I didn't have the right boots to try on with (still in the basement) and, of course, it's quite long on me, but surprisingly not by all that much. I'm going to enjoy wearing both long, as I have the short versions, that on me are a regular length coat.

I also received the caramel leather/knit jacket. Now, mind you, I don't look like Kate did in the entire ensemble, but I came pretty darn close ... what a look this is with the faux suede pants and caramel turtleneck!

The suede pants truly look like suede, minus being heavy. I own real suede and they just weigh me down ... not so these. I went with my normal size and they are just perfect.

Ahhh ... the Piece de Resistance ... The Sequined Pants

I don't know how to paint a mental picture of how these look and feel ... I already used the word "exquisite," but it applies here, too. The fit is like tailor made ... I used to have a seamstress at Marshall Field's that could alter clothes like nobody's business, and she made me look like a million bucks, That's how these look on me. Again, my regular normal size before I lost a little weight, but I think I'll keep them instead of going down a size. I like the extra room.

This might seem a little over the top to some, but I'm going to wear these with a sequined bomber jacket (small tiny sequins) for my anniversary in January. I'll also wear them with a wool crepe Ellen Tracy jacket with sequin lapels that I've had altered many times.

All in all, a very good haul ... I also received the two dresses, but am too tired to try them on ... had a flu shot yesterday, and it's taking its toll.

Love reading the reviews. Sox, you will feel better soon. I fortunately had no reaction to this year’s shot. But don’t ask how I felt after both Shingrex vaccines.

My sequin pants fit in a semi fitted way & I look forward to wearing them.

This fall collection has been fabulous in terms of the color choices — port, mushroom, deep forest green. It all works together or apart.

Looking forward to the Holiday jewelry & the tuxedo jacket.

Unfortunately for me, The Trench is just too long! Although I am quite petite, size 6, 5’1”, I had hoped that it would be wearable, without the additional cost of hemming. I have been quoted @ $50.00 to hem. Will be returning.

I had my flu shot a week or so ago at the noontime hour, and was I ever wiped out the rest of that day and the next! Also, I had a mild uptick in my temp the afternoon of the day of the shot, and I am a lady who is never hot -- always cold.

It passes.

Hope you don't mind my jumping in...If you go up a size, they will likely be baggy. Louis brought that up during the show cautioning us to stick to our usual size. I have a feeling these could work for you, even if you can only wear flats with them. That's my preference anyway. But, it's one of those items you may have to try and see & risk a return. Hope they work for you!!

@GraceCO Thnx. It’s so hard with these numbered sizes. I thought I read you order mediums but a 14 in th pants which is why I thought I may go for the 2. I typically order m’s as well.
