My red trench went to backorder

I ordered the red trench in size 16 prior to 12:30 AM, along with the black sequin pants. No problems with the order (both listed as 'in process') when I turned out the lights to go to sleep. Checked my Order Status when I woke up this morning and the trench is now listed as BACKORDER

I checked stock and all sizes are available. This is so wrong on so many levels, and I am so frustrated that such a huge company has such problems with basic inventory control. Still waiting for the port blazer which is doing the flip flop.

I think maybe it's a glitch in the system ... this morning I received an email saying my ordered had shipped. I got all excited, thinking my Port blazer had finally made it out of the warehouse kicking and screaming ...

Not so. It was an OLD confirmation of an order I received on 9/11 ... I'm still so disappointed that the port blazer is still in purgatory ... or somewhere.

@SoX What size are you in the port blazer? I have a 10 all set to be shipped back today via the post office.

Wow, that makes no sense at all. My money is on a glitch, but that said, I would be calling!

@jeancp The red is available in petite 16, it's only 4 inches shorter. If it were me, I'd oder it in petite, 4 inches in a long coat isn't that much, unless you are petite.

My sequin pants and black trench have gone to backorder and I ordered at midnight! I am so mad!!! AND to add insult to injury my black blazer is STILL on backorder from last month!! 😡😡😡

They are clearly having inventory issues. I ordered an additional pair of the mushroom as well black petite pants. They both show that there is inventory, but say back ordered. I am irritated also. I hope you get your red trench.

I also received an email telling me shipment had been sent. The shipment has been in my house for two weeks.
