Backordered!!!!!

The suit pants in mushroom, blazer in mushroom and port are now on backorder! they were ordered at least 6-7 hours before the 4pm show. I know this has happened to me before and I usually get my items later most times as a return, but this practice is so unfair. I'm tired of it and something needs to be done regarding overselling and fulfilling " orders on a first come basis". So people who ordered after me during the show probably got their orders before I did! Why??

@Tylerpoo Sorry to hear that your items are on backorder. I have yet to figure out what the Q’s Order Fulfillment Process actually is - I sometimes think they don’t know either.

I can only imagine the challenge we’re going to have when the Long Trench Coat, Sequinned Pant and Tuxedo Jacket get posted.

I hope your items do get shipped soon.

@Tylerpoo That is really strange. Are you paying by credit card or check? It makes me wonder if you are paying by check, if they figure to just sell them to those with credit card so they can get the money right away. Since you are ordering several hours in advance, then your order should be one of the first ones fulfilled either way.

Maybe try ordering through a live person. Not sure why it would matter, but maybe the live orders get put in first before the on-line orders get processed?

If you can provide the item numbers, there are a lot of posters who are very helpful and will post if they see it back in stock.

I'm sorry to hear this has happened. So frustrating! I've had the same experience, but usually wind up getting the items I ordered. Most times, I just stalk and reorder when my size pops back up & then I cancel the backorder. Good news is...most of us get our backordered items.

I always order by credit card, have ordered at midnight, have ordered days before, doesn't seem to matter! The fulfillment process is the problem. We shouldn't have to stalk an item that we order before it sold out. Those of you who ordered during the show, have your items shipped? If they have shipped then you know there is a problem!

I placed my order for the Blazer in size 12 and size 14, as sooon as the product was available 9/7. . ( Always use credit card). Yesterday I looked at my orders and the size 14 had shipped and the size 12 shows as backorder. I called the Q this morning and they said there were not enought of that size available and backorder means they are trying to get more from the manufacturer. This is the first time I have had something backordered. I often place for 2 different sizes when I do not know which one to order and want to make sure I can get the right size.

All of my new Linea stuff is being delivered today. I am excited. I purchased

Black jacket with petite pants

Muchroom jacket with petite pants

Mushroom swing cardigan

Port jacket

Since I purchased this past summer the ivory suit, I expect them all to fit like a dream. i based my size orders on the fit of that suit.

Both colors of my backordered pants went into process during the night. There is hope ladies, there is hope!

Btw, as several of you have also stated, I too, have rarely had a backorder cancel. Waitlist, that's a different story.

For what it's worth, I initially put all of my orders from the show on check hold. With the exception of the black jacket which I hadn't planned on purchasing. When my size popped up in the flurry, I hit speed buy. My other orders went on my cc the next day. Delay due to no/poor signal in the hospital where my Sister is an in patient. All four jackets out for delivery today!

Well less than 12 hours later, my two pairs of pants that had gone into "process" are now "backordered"again! 🤔 Maybe I put a whammy on my order when I posted the status change earlier. Hmmmm? Time will tell as I hang in with everyone else waiting and hoping for their delivery.

Ladies check your most recent orders. I’ve had to call twice in 2 days about 2 items that were in stock when ordered, went to backorder despite still showing in stock on the item page.

Not sure what is going on but lately I feel until an item ships, I can relax, unless a wrong item got sent!

And now the blazer which was ordered on the 9th, went into backorder, then back into process yesterday is back on backorder again! I spoke with C/S & said an order on the 9th should have been shipped to arrive by the 15th. I also mentioned those who order at midnight, & find out those who order during the show get their items shipped faster! I said this isn’t right. Those arriving at 8 AM to the warehouse should process the midnight orders first!

C/S was going to pass on my concerns to corporate.

The way I see it, all of this shipping fiasco is laid right at the hands of the Q buyer for Linea, There is never enough inventory ordered, period. How can the Q process inventory when it is not there? I do not understand why the Q buyer consistently underorders anything by Louis Dell Olio. His clothing is far superior to anything in fashion offered here at QVC. Just saying....

@JustJazzmom, All that you have said and done has happened to me. Was told today that items went to backorder again because they can't get them shipped out from the warehouse in NC because of the storm. In other words, we may never get these items!
