Received the Olive quilted jacket - question about color

I received the olive jacket and not liking the color. Sleeves and back are not the same

color as the front. I have the black jacket and that jacket is beautiful and a dark

even color.

Does anyone have the olive jacket? If so, is it a deep olive or two tone?

Are you saying the knit sleeves and knit back aren't the same or the knit is different from the quilted front? My knit sections are all the same color. They aren't exactly the same as the quilted front, but it's tonal so it doesn't bother me. My scarlet red one is the same.

Same here. Not happy with the way this one turned out. I also have the Black and love it. On this one, the body is Olive and the sleeves and back are clearly Brown. I kept thinking it was the light in the room. I finally looked at it in the bright light of my bathroom and confirmed the color difference. I'm disappointed, and wonder how it's going to look against the olive pants.

Not sure what my next steps will be. Return for the Navy or return for a refund.

The photos on Louis' blog don't show the color difference.

I have the olive jacket and have worn it. The knit part and the quilted part are a little different I think because they are different types of fabrics and took the dye different. I have worn it with black jeans and the light olive Kate shirt and it looked great.

The knit sections are the same color,the body is a very pretty Olive,sleeves and back

are brown / mustard - didn't know if I got a defective jacket.

I thought it was supposed to be a deep Olive color.

Do you have any other WK olive pieces you can compare it to? The WK olive is on the brown end, but definintely not mustard. If it's the same as your other WK olive pieces, than the fabric front took the dye differently.

The fabric front is a different configuration than the sleeves and the back.

After looking at the Olive jacket in the light.. I have to say the back and sleeves are

a brown color.

I put the jacket on with A -259705 - stretch woven slim leg pant in Olive - now on

clearance - and the colors are identical. Olive jacket and olive pants look very nice.

The olive WK on the cardigan matches my old WK TN. All this talk about the colors made me a little crazy LOL. I'm happy with it all. It's all tonal and is fine with me. Sorry if it doesn't work for who ever isn't pleased.

Olive is one of my best colors; it makes my eyes look really green. But Louis' olive is too brown. I sent back the poncho from years ago. I did keep the hoodie dress in the olive but I'll wear black next to my face.

All my olive clothes from multiple lines are much greener.

I take it back!

I wore this perfect little item over the weekend, in the bright beautiful autumn sun of upstate New York.

@Marlyn1 was right to suggest looking at it in daylight. It is a MUCH better match than I originally thought, not brown at all, but a real Olive. I am stunned at the difference.

I would suggest wearing a light color under it, as Jac did in her Facebook pic. A tan color would be a nice complement. It shows off the color much better than the Black mockneck I chose.
