Amy's Hosting Logo - Have You Noticed?

Amy has been asking the models in the past couple of her LOGO shows, what size they are wearing. I wonder if the Mods passed our criticism of Amy onto the Powers That Be? Asking the models what size they are wearing is definitely a hosting improvement for Amy.

That said, Lori was bugging the heck out of me last night - I think after Saturday's marathon of shows I had O.D. d on Lori. Amy kept trying to do colors, and Lori kept interrupting her. Esp. on that long shawl/cape thingy piece, Amy was insistent about doing colors once more near the end of the presentation and Lori just had to finish what she was saying aboug the garments first. In fact, Lori kept interrupting Amy a lot - it's like Lori is so impatient to talk that she gives Amy only a few seconds to talk and then talks over her because Lori can't contain herself any more. I'm really tired of Lorii taking over the show - and am going to start watching the shows muting her, because I'm not tired of the clothes. Amy does need to control Lori's talking over her much better, and The Powers That Be need to tell Lori to be quiet so Amy can do her job.

Yes, I absolutely noticed that they were asking sizes. IT IS ABOUT TIME>

Pathetic we even have to beg them to do this.

In my opinion....Loris just very passionate....Its AMY that I mute for. Her pronunciation is not appealing for the tv viewer.

@hopi And you completely missed my real point, which was thinking our feedback here on the board maybe did some good. No matter who conveyed what to whom by what means: the sizes the models were wearing was told to us.

I must respectfully disagree @Pearlee. Susan Graver is in a class all by herself. She is simply untouchable with respect to hyper-chattiness. I had Susan on as background noise Sunday evening...wow! That's some impressive talking she can do.

Lori is simply her Padawan learner at this point.

Well, if you take the QVC tour, which I did, you would learn that the producer is indeed talking in the ear of the host and telling her/him what to do. The producer is keeping a close on the sales of what is being shown. When sales spike, it is the producer's job to tell the host what words/phrases/or whatever may have caused that spike and to repeat it. I think it would be very difficult to talk and have someone talking in your ear. Maybe that is why so many phrases are repeated by the hosts/vendors -- it is like they are on autopilot.

Difficult is open heart surgery, teaching several subjects to 200 teenagers for 6 1/2 hours everyday climbing up a burning building or policing a dangerous neighborhood.

Put the task in perspective.
