She looks ridiculous in that tutu style tennis dress. I think it's the juxtaposition of the ruffly skirt and her muscles.

Isn't that the Niki symbol beneath the "LOGO", I don't remember seeing LOGO in quotes before. Anyway, I agree she looks ridiculous in that get up, maybe if it were in different colors.

That’s cute!

After a little poking around, the designer uses obvious

words/phrases in quotes with many of his designs.

Obviously Nike is the ‘LOGO”.

But it’s funny in our micro-mini biosphere, we see Logo differently!

Absolutely love that Serena comes with the beautiful feminine tennis outfit. She is a fashion trend setter and and historic figure in tennis. Love the ballet outfit.

Don't think our Lori had anything to do with it.

Pretty much my daily summer wear is a tennis skirt and racerback tank with my sneaks. I just love them so much more than shorts for summer. Of course, mine are Danskin from Walmart that I've collected over the years. I loved Serena's outfit, won't buy it, but loved it and thought she looked wonderful.

Like I said upthread, the designer’s trademark is to

place obvious words in quotes. It was a collaboration

with Nike & the designer, Virgil Abloh.

I do not understand how it is not a patent violation. You cannot just put quotes around a patented label and think it's okay. "Nike", "Versace", that's ridiculous. Looks like Lori Goldstein would take some action to halt this violation.

Case law states that Lori Goldstein has to defend her patent. If she knowingly lets someone use her LOGO, then she can lose her patent. You cannot just put quotes around a patent and it's okay. And the tutu is ridiculous on Serena's body type. Maybe long waisted and then ruffles, but not ruffles coming straight out from the waist.

@Kay Vee Being a strong, successfuly woman doesn't mean you can't make big fashion mistakes. The two things have nothing to do with each other.
