I remember someone posted a similar issue/question a while back and I skimmed it but don't remember what the solution/reason was...

I am washing my rayon/span logo items inside out, in a lingerie bag, on cold and hanging to dry...and they are coming out with this weird crackled look to the fabric. It is hard to explain. It is no longer a solid color but if you look closer, you seee crackle/wrinkles or something throughout the pieces!!! What is going on?!

I specifically remember a post about this and almost seem to recall someone saying something about it being from the way HE washers works. I have a front loader HE washer (that I hate, but can't replace now) - could the way it washes be the isssue? If not, what is it? If so, what can I do? If all my pieces are going to look like this, I willl have to be completely done with Lori's rayon/span (except for maybe tanks where I just want the bottom piece showing). It looks awful. Any thoughts? Recommendations? Suggestions? I am not pleased after spending so much and hoping to use these pieces for a while.

I don't think it was my post you were talking about, but I posted a similar complaint. Someone (sorry don't remember who) told me to steam my shirt and it went away. I described it as appearing veined like marble and the other ladies knew what I was talking about. It must me mini wrinkles because steaming works.

With all the LOGO I've bought from Day 1 of Lori's appearance - and believe me I have plenty, my LOGO is taking over my house - I've never had that happen to any of my pieces. I do not have an HE washer.

Hmm @elrager I wish I knew more about the post/the replies. I don't have a steamer now but I hate to buy one just for this or not knowing for sure if that's it. Anyone else have thoughts? I don't know if water is not circulating enough in the garment bag or something else. Hand washing won't work now; I have a 3 year old. Once I can use the bathroom alone, I may find time to hand wash!

I don't know if water is not circulating enough in the garment bag or something else. Hand washing won't work now; I have a 3 year old. Once I can use the bathroom alone, I may find time to hand wash!

@ReneeinOhio Yes, my thought is to go buy a Rewenta (the best) travel steamer for around $30. I saw them just this past Friday over at Bed, Bath and Beyond (and they always have coupons around too for 20% off. I can't live without my steamer - it's as essential as having a microwave in my life. I haven't ironed in years due to having a convenient steamer. The travel size holds water enough for two items of clothing to be steamed. And you can use it on fabrics that are too delicate to iron for fear of burning the fabric, i.e. silk, poly that looks like silk, etc. It's really great for touching up LOGO items, esp. the rayon/spans. Even if whatever people have posted here is not your problem with your garments, you need a steamer in your household!

Here is my second suggestion. Your question has been asked here many times. So if you need more responses, rather than have people re-post what they have posted here before, there is a search bar for the forums. If you look above the posts, you'll see a white rectangular bar that's blank, next to (to the left of ) the white rectangular bar that says "Community." That blank rectangular bar next to the one that says "Community" is the search function for the forums. So you can search for threads using various keywords to get more LOGO laundering suggestions.

I have exactly the same problem with my LOGO rayon/span. I wash it and hang to dry but have all the little "cracks" is what I call them. I don't baby my items in washing quite as much as some of you - I don't hand wash or put in a mesh bag. I've always wondered if the little cracks come from the way the item is "compressed" after the spin cycle. I might try taking it out of the washer before the spin cycle is complete and am definitely going to try the steamer. I have 2 items that I dearly love(vests) that I feel are almost unwearable because of this issue.

The HE washers have a delicate cycle. The regular cycle, even in a bag, goes through a maximum spin. I wonter if that is causing the marks.

know because I have two washers, one top load and the other a HE frontload. I wash all my towels in the front load because the spin is so strong but does the best job of water removal for heavy items. But there is a delicate spin too.

I have an HE front load washer. I wash my logo inside out on the gentle cycle. Sometimes I dry on low, sometimes I hang dry. I've never had the problem with wrinkles and hope I don't. But if I do, you wonderful ladies have provided a remedy for me. I'm keeping my steamer close by..
