The hosts often try to use words that will supposedly elevate the product they are trying to sell, but often these words just come across as stupid jargon. Three of these "fancy" words I hate the most are "colorway" instead of "color", "fabrication" instead of "fabric", & "price point" instead of "price". And the callers who call in mimic this same jargon & just perpetuate this nonsense. And since when did "pants" become "a pant"? That conjures up images of a one-legged garment.

An elegantly attired, young host was with Beth tonight presenting Judith’s lovely new Verona cuff. It has already sold out in the silver choice. I was watching the video afterwards and the host gave me a much needed laugh! She was confidently impressing viewers by pointing out that at 11.1 grams, the cuff was “not some dingy piece”. 🙀 Good to know that Judith’s bracelet is not dirty and shabby!
