Valerie's livestream seemed to confirm her TSV for this coming Saturday. She said it won't be priced until Saturday morning (12 AM) when she presents with Rick D. (St. Nick). She noted this will be a set of 4 lanterns, they are 8 inches tall, and they come in red, green, ivory and black. No item number given.

Valerie offered these last year in sets of three. The colors were red, black, and ivory. They have lights inside, and you can choose clear, or color changing. They are very adorable, but mine go through batteries quickly. H433944 They were 27.99 set of 3 and are 6 inch.

@Tissyanne Thanks for the information. I agree Valerie's fairy lights don't last as long as some others. I usually switch them out with a longer lasting strand. I think last year's lanterns were color changing, but these are not. Someone on the livestream asked about that. At first Valerie said these were 6 inches, but Elizabeth said these were 8 inches.

Depending on the price, I might like them for T-Day favors or for the grands. We'll see.

I have the set of 3 from last year in all of the colors then offered and LOVE them. Now I need to go measure the height of mine because I'm thinking they may be smaller than what appears to be tsv this weekend??

I have a few of her lit items and find that whether it be string of lights or lights inside an item, they don't last as long as other brands with batteries. I've already had to change my 2 pumpkins that I put out just about 4 weeks ago. (the TSV) I don't think I'll be buying much more of her lighted things.

This is totally disappointing as a choice for a TSV. It should be something totally new and unique.

Advance posting of items just helps the sales. It was nice it was mentioned livestream for the "Val Pals."

Were the pedestals new? They are reversible. Square on one side to fit the TSV and round on the other.

The lanterns will come with at least two toppers each. Fall and Christmas.

Well I have been accumulating small lanterns for a few years. I also have battery tealights that I put in them. I hang the lanterns in Christmas trees. I have used them
In my garden tree and in a Dickens tree.

A dark lantern could be hung on pathway shepherd hooks any time of year. I would use them at Halloween. I just put out on the day because I don't want mine rained on. Red would be nice for a Christmas party or Fourth of July.

Little lanterns can be tucked anywhere vs a large lantern. Put one on a bookshelf in front of the books. Put on the steps going to second floor. A lantern can sit in front of a larger lantern or on top of a stack of books on the coffee table. If putting them on a pedestal can go anywhere just like a candle. I would scatter them at varying heights on my buffet table. On the counter in the bathroom, the little shelf below a mirror in the foyer or on your dresser. Lots of places!

@PA Mon-to-mom - Okay thanks! I had the livestream on but only saw a bit here and there when I could glance. I was working so I couldn't really watch and I was concentrating on work stuff so didn't listen very well.

I will be watching for the pedestals. I like the square option. I wonder if those were the ones I could not find anywhere a few weeks ago. Saw them in the fireplace and liked the square but couldn't find them. I thought the ones I saw were taller tho.

@Sakuya The pedestals are new. I think they are intended to support the new, small, square lanterns that may be the TSV. I like that they are reversible to support square or round based lanterns, candles, etc.

@Kitty Galore Valerie showed them on a mantle but also hanging on the Christmas tree. They are small, only 8 inches tall including the handle in a raise position. Another poster has suggested several ways these can be used.

@Sakuya Valerie said the pedestals were very limited and would be available at 12 AM eastern time. So, if you really want them, you might want to be there when the first show starts. I can never stay awake, unfortunately. Who knows, maybe they will be available earlier, so keep checking.

I love Valerie's items and have years worth of her best things but her sneak peak was rather underwhelming. It's so much the same as what she's had in years past like lanterns and gingerbread cottages. Fortunately there is nothing I want which will help my wallet.
