QVC has yet to figure out how to order enough quantity of items that will be a great sell vs stuff that has been on the website for years that will never sell out.

@avid shopper If the items have been on Q's site for years, they should be putting those on a blow-out highly reduced prices to move them out. Keep the inventory turning and fresh.

Offer a discount code for any Christmas item on clearance or free shipping on Christmas clearance, and my guess is most if not all items would sell out pretty quickly.

QVC and every other retailer in history. That's why buyers' jobs are so hard.

The issue is that everyone has different tastes and budgets. From reading here, I know there are some who will only buy sale / clearance. As for myself, I have t seen anything I like today despite items selling out.

Of course, the day is young ... and Christmas in July is only half over.

I had bought the chamberstick candles that Valerie sold last month. I loved the look of them, but, like the reviews indicated, the battery box was impossible to open without breaking the tab. So back they went.

Adding that I only see 2 Valerie items that have sold out and 1 is a set of fairy lights. There are a few Kringle Express items and the 3.5' tree, so not a lot at all.

I have theee storage units with tons from Valerie, I love and adore almost every piece I own but there is nothing new and fresh. It is the same old year to year. Nothing this visit interests me. The bevel glass hurricanes and jewel box, I already own, the hurricanes I own too many in every color under the rainbow and design, spheres I have at least 10 sets in different colors and designs.

Now Kim’s new line….that excited me.

I enjoy watching her shows but alll i see is mostly the same items year after year. I don't buy anything that takes a battery to work. I use the timer and buy the best batteries and they still don't last. I loved the years when she sold items that didn't need a battery and were timeless. Just my opinion.

Yep, three rented storage units. All sorted by season🤣🤣🤣 Every season I pull everything and sort through and after two years if something doesn't get used off to Goodwill it goes.

Great suggestions to help. move out inventory that is old or limited now...but am afraid OP's ideas are falling on deaf ears. Q just does not follow the same marketing strategies others do. They overcharge for shipping, have limited return policy, and have really overpriced their jewelry and clothing items while lowering the quality on many of them in the past few years. The blow-out prices are a good idea, but they don't do enough of them.

There is SO much more they could do with a TSV. Make shipping free for all TSVs or offer the TSVs at an actual reduced price, not just $5 which is what some have been recently.

I do agree that the TSV price does not appear better than a regular new item at a lower price. TSV just means "we have a lot of these." I like the idea of all TSVs having free s/h.

I thought maybe it was just me. Nothing called out to me or really was even interesting. I also just DVR'd all of her shows this time so quickly able to fast forward and delete.

Makes me sad...there was a time not so long ago VPH shows were must watch for me. I also liked her old set so much better as it had that huge fp and mantel and exuded warmth. The set she's been on for last 2-3 years is white, sterile & blah.

Oh well my wallet was safe for CIJ this year...🙃
