Is anyone watching? Anyone get anything? I have things in my cart and something else I am thinking about but haven't bought yet.

The 6 new Harry Slatkin candles that have different house scenes on front are tempting. I don't think I would like all the scents but I like the picture on each of the candles. They are a 2 piece set of same candle. If they offered a set of 6 of one of each, I may have gone for that. Even though I don't think I would like all the scents I would still probably get it if that was an option. I enjoy when Harry is presenting. Some find him over the top, but I find him entertaining and happy.

The taper lanterns shown in the flyer are not available yet. It's just fun to watch and decide on decorating plans and what may or may not work into it.

@Sakuya I'm watching as much as I can. A few items have gone into my wish list - waiting for free shipping. If they are still there at the same price when free ship comes along, bingo! I did buy the Lindt TSV for DH to take to the staff at his mom's nursing home.

I bought the David's Cookies 174 preformed cookies for $59.98. That is a great deal and their cookies are very good.

Today's TSV ... just HOW are they going to ship these in such excessive heat?

Or .... is this a delayed shipment?

@Tinkrbl44 - You can choose the shipment date. I give these as Christmas gifts, so I choose a shipping date in early November. Where we live on the east coast the truffles would never survive if they shipped now, but QVC has to consider the orders that are shipped now. Maybe they ship them with dry ice ?

@Tinkrbl44 Advanced order. The ship dates are from the end of October to mid-December.

I already ordered the Lindt chocolates and advent wines for Dear Husband as I do every year. Those are his favorite purchases I make from QVC.

It is so hot here that is is almost fun to think about the cooler holiday season!

I have made my annual purchase of Kringle Express gift bags. Love the patterns this year.

I also purchased Gift Mate 34 bag set ( not shown on tv and which i think must be owned by Kringle maybe) as it has colors and designs thst can be used year round. Ive purchaded Gift Mate in Amazon before for birthdays etc. Im surprised they are offered on QVC.com

@elated Thanks for mentioning those. I tend to stay away from more decor as I'm trying to downsize, but David's cookies are tempting and I didn't know they had them on special now.

I bought the My Grandma's Apple spice donut cake for advanced purchase before the first show aired, then bought it for immediate ship during Shawn's show. Then I bought the Harry Slatkin hand soaps in 2 scents. I am looking at some of his candles and I loved the beach snowman, but it's too expensive.

@Sakuya, I almost bought a few also, until I noticed that unlike the candles with free shipping, they had a shipping charge. When planning to buy multiples it added up. Especially since it wasn't something really needed.

To my thinking, if you're going to charge shipping on multiple items that will all come in one box, the shipping charge should be reduced.

Yes, shipping always is irksome, especially when buying multiples. These are a $3.50 shipping though, which is better than $5.50. At $5.50 I would say no. At $3.50 I don't like it, but will consider it. Can always say time and gas would be more than $3.50 if you had a store nearby that had it.

I didn't go for the Lindt. I'm waiting for the Landie's stuffed pretzels, particularly Alberti's favorites. If you haven't tried them, you're missing something delicious.

I am making a mental list for some other potential purchases. Love to shop early, so I can sit back and relax, while others are running like squirrels for last minute shopping. Who wants to do that?

I was home for most of the day yesterday, so I watched here and there.

I ended up buying Harry's set of Cranberry Wreath candles. I don't really buy from him much anymore because his quality has gone downhill, but I picked up last year's Cranberry Wreath candle from HomeGoods and I absolutely love it. The scent is everything I love in a Christmas candle and the strength and throw were great. I'm hopeful that this year's set will be even better since he claims he added more oils to his candles (after so many complaints, I'm sure!).

Other than that, there wasn't really anything else that tempted me and that's just fine. I love CIJ, but I also look forward to their fall/Halloween programming and often make a few purchases then.

@Sakuya Maybe you only want Slatkin soaps, but Bath and Body works is having their semi annual sale. The hand soaps are nice, I gift them and also use them in my home. Most are 3.25, less than the shipping charge on the Slatkin! Just FYI if you want to check BBW out. I think their shipping charge is really ok. I think 6.95 or so per order if you don't spend xx $. I received gift cards at Christmas and got a big order in January.
