Holiday Lights!

Most of the time, my taste runs to twinkling white fairy lights in my place's sliding door/window (my window to the world). And when I think of colorful lights I just cannot imagine how I would ever like them!

Then along comes December and I'm good with, no GREAT with having primary colored lights up as decorations.
I remember this neighbor above me having colorful lights..so I'm puttimg some up too!

And also, because @Oznell got me going on this, I'm using copper toned decorative items inside for enjoyment!

Notice (if you can tell) it's snowing here right now!

@LTT1the lights are lovely. I have seen some light blue almost lavender looking lights around my neighborhood and I think they are very pretty. Speaking of holiday lights, we had the Canadian Pacific holiday train pass though our area last night, about a mile up the street from my house. It was very cool to see the train cars all lit up for the holidays and music blaring from the cars. I guess there's a band on board playing while it travels from town to town. I tried to upload the video but couldn't figure out how to do it.

We have great lights in our 'hood and drive around most nights. Two houses go all out, and the style of houses they look like festive gingerbread houses!

Favorites have to be two big white houses with aqua lights. It is SOOOO beautiful. We noticed a lot more deer have sprung up this year. And one house lights every branch in a big pin oak tree. Amazing for sure. They have done this since it was a little sprout!

Glad you like it! Even tho the gif I made looks foggy, it was actually a clear night...very dark except for snow!

I am so impressed with the decorations that the neighbors put up. Just about every house puts alot of effort and money into the decorations.

I like driving through the neighborhood at night and seeing all the lights and decorations. Glad they make the effort - it is worth it.
