No Val thread?

Is anyone buying? This visit is kind of a snooze for me. I have been scoring big time on As-is items so only interested in a couple of things. I already have more than enough Christmas to decorate three homes so not buying anything Christmas-related.

I did pick up the clear beaded Garland H44862 and set of a set of four picks in clear H44286. These are for winter decorating in a copy of a dining table look for my entryway table I saw Val do in a previous year. I had everything to complete the look but the picks and Garland.

I am interested in the snowflake pedestals coming up tonight but I will see how much they are. I had her snow globe pedestals H244382 delivered today. I managed to get two in as is so I was happy.

I did order Valerie's H442508 Illuminated Pearl & Glitter Hurricane in Champagne. I ordered a few as is items so we'll see how that goes. Other than that, I think I am done for this visit.

No purchases for me haven't watched her show yet. Most likely I won't purchase.

Now that stores like TJMaxx / Homegoods are fully stocked I'm more inclined to see it in person. Better prices and get to decide if good quality or not immediately.

If I could behave and get rid of a decor item or more when bringing in a new piece I'd be a happy camper. Since that isn't happening at the moment, I have big decluttering plans however lol - I'm curtailing new purchases.

@MG Chris I had the two different sets of Heart Strings ornaments in my cart when I remembered that I gave my grands these Valerie heart ornaments last Christmas (set of 5):

They were only $22.50 per set.

I love the Heart Strings ornaments, but I don't want to repeat the heart theme, and these are much more money, if I'm getting two sets.

I really enjoyed looking at her sneak peak yesterday, lots of pretty things but like so many others, I have enough that

I love and not more space to hold anymore.

If I was getting anything I would have gotten the snowmen roasting marshmallows-very cute, for the grandkids room-they love to roast marshmallows, the flameless candle with santa and reindeer flying in the sky, and I can't remember the other one!

And like others have said, I think most of her things are overpriced even double what other stores have and like @rockygems123, said, stores you can go to both in person and online have so many things just like Valeries with often much more reasonable prices. People have so many options.

I only like to watch her with a few hosts and just won't anymore with others. I used to always watch every show of hers and get one thing I loved.

I agree her prices are getting outrageous and the quality has gone down. I have been hitting As-is like crazy. I have several sets of her tall pedestals H22358. I bought As-is and there is no way they are worth full price.

I have the snowmen roasting marshmallows and the battery cover is falling off right out of the box. I am keeping it but I wouldn't buy it again.

I looked a her Preview yesterday and didn't see anything that I was interested in.

I have been shopping Hobby Lobby, At Home and Home Goods. Better prices and I cn see the quality before I buy.

I ordered the 3-tier lazy susan in black (H442811) because I really liked it for decorating. Then I wondered where I would put it. I got caught up in the seasonal aspect of it!

And I ordered some picks (H444213) - can't resist those!

I have ordered a lot of As is both here and at HSN and I can count on one hand the issues I have had over the years.

Last week I received a set of Val’s tall candle holders one was broken in half. I glued it back together with some Gorilla glue and it is all fixed up. For the price $32.50, I am okay vs. The $70 they are on sale for right now. I ordered other sets in various colors on as is and they all are fine. Overall, I would say go for it.

Not buying but I did watch yesterday morning. As always she has some cute things but I simply can't justify a purchase. I did go against my better judgement and purchased one of the Holiday Traditions glitter trees (H260017) during Christmas in July. It's perfect for my guest bath. Other than that, I've been sticking to my guns.

@MG Chris Thanks for the info. As a matter of fact I just received one of my as is orders and it looks perfect, keeping my fingers crossed for the next item.
