I have 20 trees ranging from 2 ft to the large 7.5 in the family room. Most are small 3-4 feet table top and pencil trees. I like a tree in corners of the room that don't take up alot of room.

Nutcracker pencil tree

Bubble light table top

Grinch tree

Disney tree

Elf pencil tree

Snowman tree

Gingerbread tree

Tinsel table top

Vintage ornament silver table top

Woodland pencil tree

Cobalt blue and gold 5 ft slim flocked tree

Red and gold (7.5 tree)

Cardinal Table top tree

Flocked white owl table top tree

Buffalo plaid pencil tree

Topiary table top tree

Multicolor Candy table top tree

Faire Aiisle table top tree

Frozen table top

Glass icicle and crystal table top tree

Silver and white pencil tree.....

Looks so pretty in the evenings and mornings. I start Nov 1st and take my time. I keep it all organised We prefer the small trees becaue the 7.5 ft takes most of the day to decorate. We aren't ready to get rid of it yet. I have switched to all LED, so I don't notice much of an increase in my electric bill with all of them lit.

I am 67 and will put a tree/trees up as long as I can. I guess I have OCD....Obsessive Christmas Disorder.....

Do you make a very sophisticated tree with just a few ornaments that all match or do you have a tree that displays many colors and types of ornaments?

I have many ornaments that are from my childhood and many that have been collected over the years. Our tree is just a combination of ornaments that have special meanings to us.

I have many ornaments that represent my Yorkshire Terriers and each year I've always bought a Hallmark ornament with Tweety Bird to honor my two canaries. Displaying ornaments that help me remember all of my past pets always make decorating our tree so much more meaningful.

I always admire trees that are elegantly decorated but that just isn't my style. Our tree is a hodgepodge of ornaments from vacations, pets, childhood memories and glass balls of various colors. We always get a real tree and when we finish decorating I stand there and remember each ornament and smile at the happy memory that each one brings to mind.

I just have 2 small trees. They all have pretty much old glass ornaments and I have them up on the cupboard where the cats can't get to them. I have boxes of ornaments and decorations that I no longer use in a deep closet and spare bedroom. In fact, I don't even take the ornaments off anymore. I just put garbage bags over them and return to the closet.

I have a coordinated tree focusing on the colors I prefer. I have given the kids all of their personal ornaments from when they were young. My "theme" (I kind of hate that word regarding Christmas trees) is metallics and white/ivory.) I trim the top of my tree with a tiara. You have to look closely to see it, as it sort of goes around the top of the tree and does not sit on the highest branch. I have never found a "tree topper" I liked.

That being said, I don't care for overly decorated trees under which you cannot even see the tree. Truth be told, I love a tree with white/clear lights and nothing else.

Growing up my mother decorated out tree all in gold. I had always wanted a tree that had ornaments with special meaning so when I was in high school, my mother stopped with the gold decorations and began to collect ornaments that meant something to the family or ones that she just liked.

When I moved out, my mother bought me a bunch of ornaments for my first Christmas on my own and continued to gift me ornaments through the years. My mother passed in 2012 and my father moved in with my family. I weeded through all my mother's and my ornaments and kept the most special ones. I have a very narrow tree and those special ornaments as well as some silk poinsettias and berries decorate it very nicely.

In my living room, I have a nine-foot Valerie pencil tree that rotates. It is decorated with white ribbon and all done in crystal. My topper is made out of silver lighted branches and white twigs.

In my bedroom, I have a seven-foot full tree decorated in blush and white with white faux fur ribbon, and the contrasting ribbon is blush and silver. My topper is a crown.

My favorite thing to do is to lay in bed at night and in the morning and watch the twinkling lights and the swaying crystal on my living room tree.

I have a pink tree with cupcake, lollipops and cotton candy ornaments along with toy and fairy ornaments. I went elegant for awhile with lots of floral swags but I missed the childlike feeling of Christmas and do this instead now.
I also have a large lollipop bouquet I use as a tree topper.

This year since I have a kitty who has never had a Christmas tree I wanted to be safe so I put up a lot of metal, stuffed bears from Vermont Teddy Bear Company and only a few breakables. So far he hasn't bothered either tree. I have lots of ornaments that are very old and some newer ones that I put up sometimes but this year I wanted to be safe because I didn't know how Oliver and Char would react.

There are ornaments that I made nearly 60 years ago, alongside ornaments my children made when they were in Sunday School. We have ornaments from nearly every place we visited. There is jewelry from my favorite cousin who passed away. There are childrens' wedding favors and package ornaments from newborn grandchildren. When we first went to housekeeping, we just had white doves, red apples, and red bows. They are the first things that go on our tree each year.

Our tree is always decorated with ornaments that bring back cherished memories. We usually get a couple of new ones each year. That is the one in the living room. The tree I put up in the dining room is a flocked tree done in peacock ornaments and colors.
