QVC Keeping Forums Open!

What this means is anyone's guess. I think they will continue to keep the Forums open to evaluate the the cost/benefit while trying to encourage people to go to FB. I don't think they anticipated how many people want to avoid FB. I won't be doing FB and I was starting to wonder about the safety of Proboards. Just paranoid I guess.

I am sure it had an impact on sales too. We were distracted by the forum closure and not shopping.

We all saw the impact on the forums, I am sure it was a bigger impact on sales, since only a fraction of people post at any one time.

And it was a silly assumption, since QVC has a million facebook accounts already. They promote them all the time. I am sick of hearing hosts telling me to "click like". If we wanted to be there, we already would be. Silliest idea ever...

This makes me happy!

I wasn't sure what I was going to do. I do have a fb page. not on much maybe once a month to check on my son's memory fb page and to check on his military friends and highschool friends. and a few of my friends

I haven't been on the Q board to long. So haven't formed the friendships that so many here have. But all of you have been a ton of information to me. I find that most of the hosts do not give the information that I need. I come to the Q boards to find my answers and sure enough someone here has the answer.

I hope QVC keeps these blogs open

Thank goodness! I will never be on Facebook, and will not be forced to, I have made several friends here and check the forums at least once a day QVC must have heard our roars and decided they better listen before we all disappear!
