    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;have several Christmas items on advanced order and am hoping to receive them , &amp;nbsp; but I guess if I don't my wallet will benefit 😉 In a way advanced orders give me a pause to decide if I really want the item as at times I may get caught up in the moment and then in a couple of days I feel differently. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I will say though the orders I have right now on AO &amp;nbsp;I truly do want and look forward to receiving , &amp;nbsp;fingers crossed !&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Advance Order shipping date keeps being extended</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I ordered a Valerie gingerbread church in June during Christmas in July.&amp;nbsp; Originally it was to ship out mid August and I received an email about it being delayed.&amp;nbsp; However, I've heard nothing else and when I click on "edit order" every day the shipping date increases another day. On Friday it said 9/13, now it says 9/15, and keeps increasing daily.&amp;nbsp; I am just worried that it will be cancelled.&amp;nbsp; Anyone else in a similar situation?&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've got three advace orders in the same boat.&amp;nbsp; Two were supposed to ship the end of July but the dates just keep moving out.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope they don't cancel, I have my heart set on my new vignette.&amp;nbsp; But at this rate, I'm beginning to wonder too.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

For some items they will then come back in stock for shipping.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've noticed the changing dates, too. &amp;nbsp;I've already cancelled some items because they would arrive too late for me to use this year. &amp;nbsp;I'll be disappointed if all are cancelled, but I understand that shipping from China is really beyond the control of QVC. &amp;nbsp;I'm sure they are just as unhappy as we are about the delays.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Same - I have a set of VPH pillars that were supposed to ship the week of 8/23. Received an automated phone call advising of delay. Called customer service a few days ago and they have no firm date or ship week. Also, the item is now sold out so I don't even know if it exists in inventory to be shipped out. If it gets cancelled, I'll live, but it is very disappointing to say the least.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Edited to change date. Items were supposed to ship the week of August 23rd, not September 23rd.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I ordered 3 of Valerie's twinkling frosted pine trees at the end of June during the CIJ..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They were to be delivered the end of August...now it's ETA Sept 15th.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did cancel some things but I am going to hang on for the few that I really want.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I wonder what the ship dates will be for her shows coming up this weekend..&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I am fine with waiting but my main concern is that my gingerbread church doesn't get cancelled only to then come back in stock later for shipping.&amp;nbsp; This has happened too many times on things I have ordered. I think QVC's computer system is programmed to cancel items that have been waiting the longest only to fulfill later orders.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;One thing I did do on some previous items was upgrade my shipping to "premium". This worked on items that others got cancelled but mine was shipped.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I went in and changed my order from "standard" shipping to "express" and my order now shows "In Process".&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I switched it to "premium" and it also shows "In process". When I switched it back to "standard" it just shows "Advance order".&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;So I wonder,&amp;nbsp; do they have inventory that now is prioritized for those who upgrade shipping? Are those items purchased with "standard" shipping now put to the back of the line? (or even cancelled?)&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I think that just in general, many people will never see these advanced orders at all, and many will be later than promised. The supply chain in very stressed and out of sync right now. I just personally don't count on a single thing I order from anywhere actually showing up.....until it actually does.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't like it, but unfortunately, it is the way of the world right now. Most everything VPH sells is coming from China. Ports in China closed, container shortages, Covid issues, ports backed up here in the US, trucker shortages, labor shortages in all fields.....it all adds up to maybe we will see it, maybe we won't.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It seems unlikely that changing the shipping speed would magically make an item listed on advance order suddenly become available. And "In Process" is the default status associated with an order being placed—if your changes had resulted in a status change to "Preparing Your Order," that would be cause for celebration.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It seems to be a hit or miss with the overseas orders on shipping dates. I am hoping everyone of us gets all the advanced orders!       <description>&lt;P&gt;While I know it is not QVC's fault exactly, these extensions have made me rethink my orders. I have cancelled about six so far. I am sorry to do it, but I don't trust I'll get them and I am&amp;nbsp; just plain frustrated with the situation. So everyone is losing here. Except my credit card, of course. Should QVC be selling stuff that may or may not come in time? Would they have enough to keep the lights on if they sold only what they knew they had? My guess is no. The "on time" theory of manufacturing has made everyone dependent on shipping times, including QVC.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just went through quite a number of orders to see what the updated shipping dates are. In many cases the extended shipping dates were beyond when I expect to be finished with my decorating. I cancelled almost all of those and just kept the items I knew I wanted for sure no matter when it arrives. I'm sure QVC is losing a lot of sales because of these problems but I know it's not their fault.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I've now cancelled quite a few of my advanced orders.&amp;nbsp; I didn't order any VPH on advanced order, the items I did order have been wonderful.&amp;nbsp; The one advanced item that I haven't cancelled but I'm on the brink is the Bethlehem Lights window candles.&amp;nbsp; I ordered them back during CIJ and was fine with the advance order status.&amp;nbsp; The order went into "processing" status, then a few days later I got a shipment delayed message from QVC.&amp;nbsp; Now they are back to showing advanced order, BUT, they tried to process my first payment.&amp;nbsp; Really not sure I'm trusting any of this anymore.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
