Enjoy All of Valerie's Shows!

I really do love watching every seasonal show that Valerie and staff puts on. She is such a lovely and gracious host and gives a lot of great decorating ideas. But I honestly feel that the prices were high in Christmas in July, and also in the fall shows. Even with easy pay I don't want to pay as much as the total price on too many items. So I watch and enjoy but I rarely make a purchase because the cost is just too much, and seems to go up every holiday.

@vmli Just watching and enjoying isn't QVC's reason for being - they are here to sell, not just to entertain. No point complaining about prices, they are what they are for a reason - to make a profit and remain in business. Prices are not going to go down, but will do nothing but go up. Simple economics.

I also like to watch Valerie's shows; she is very creative and gives us wonderful ideas and I do buy her products. I wish I had the need and space for some of her products when I see her displays but I am on overload at this point in my life.

Changed from "Kids and grandkids" decorating as they become adults to a more sophisticated decor in later years so now I am not in the market for a lot of new, but I still enjoy some "changing up".

Prices always increase over time, but recently, I think it's been dramatic.

Particularly, food and gas, two critical essentials everyone needs.

I agree, IMO, QVC's decor items are skyrocketing, but often they or something similar can be found elsewhere at lower prices. Shop around.

I have always liked Valerie. Her calm and mature demeanor. She gives me great decorating ideas sometimes. When I see something I like on the Q I hop online to see if cheaper elsewhere, it usually is.

ITA the prices are up dramatically! I totally enjoy VPH shows too but I hardly ever purchase anymore, it has to really strike me for me to take the leap. Especially with so many advanced orders, you won't be able to use it until next year as by the time it gets here that particular season will be over and we'll be moving on to the next. I too, think she is lovely, however as another poster said you can find really nice fall decor on sale locally and get a much better deal. Also I am disappointed in her attention to the quality of her products, JMO.

@vmli I agree with you! I love to watch the shows and get ideas from Valerie. I may buy one item each year. Last year I bought the snow globe lanterns for myself, my DD and my DDIL. That was an exception. Prices are too high this year. I'll wait for "As Is"
