Amish Sleigh Basket

I just ordered this. Kinda expensive at $64.00 (free ship) but it's the only Christmas piece I've purchased this year, and I think I will leave it out year round. It will be fun to decoration (the decorations are not included) amishbasketsdotcom.

Comes in plain, green/wine or blue/wine.

That sleigh is beautiful. I think I have a picnic basket made by the same family. I have had it for a few years now and it has held up well.

I use it almost every day during the summer months.

I love your sleigh. I went to the website, and they have so many nice things. I loved the bird houses (I collect them and have them on my screened in porch). I also loved the dog bed. They have a toilet tank topper that I liked, too. It holds two rolls of toilet paper and a tissue box.

I might consider ordering the small bird house, but I don't need it.

QVC used to sell Bradford baskets too. They were very nice quality. I still have a few that I use often.

I just did a walk thru to count how many Peterboro baskets I have -- 4.

And I remember giving a few as gifts. Always enjoyed watching these

shows.

@nicknack I looked at those birdhouses, and love them. After I finish my

Christmas shopping I may have to get that double one.

Description says they are functionable, but I just wonder how they would

hold up outside. The reviews are good.

@yellowrose I wondered about water getting in the bird houses if they were outside. I wouldn't want to put them outside.

@NickNack You probably read the description where it says these birdhouses have a double layer of walls, more to benefit the birds than to keep them looking good out in the elements. I think they are really nice, but I'm not interested in buying for a decor piece,

and I'm not confident about leaving it out in the rain, so I probably won't get one.

Sure do like them though.
