Who Is Buying The TSV Trees?

I am tempted to order the green since we had one years ago but don't know where it is now. I don't decorate with the multicolor lights anymore but this is just nostalgia. I also would like the white if the bulbs were clear. So, I'm undecided at this point what I will do. I'd enjoy reading your thoughts.

I ordered the set of 2 7" green trees. I thought one would look cute on my desk, and the other on my coffee table. You mentioned the "plugs." There are no plugs with these, they require 3-C batteries for the large, or 2 AAA batteries for each of the smaller ones.

I put my mom's original tree like this out every year. I thought about getting the two small ones to put on either side of that.

I bought the small green ones. I loved my original back from the 60s I broke the one my mom made - went to House sale (lady was 97) so I'm sure someone made it as it has the light bulb base (2 pieces) and plug in style.

I display it every year one my entry way table - looking forward to adding the small trees.

I know posters are saying they are made in China (what isn't!) but ceramic stores & classes are no longer around to my knowledge or I'd make them. This was a "nostalgic" purchase🎄

PS: my bulbs are removable & I ordered extras on Amazon last year (multi). I don't know with the TSV but if the bulbs are removable you could replace the multi with clear bulbs. They were reasonably priced on Amazon.

@2blonde Sorry, I meant to say bulbs. My brain is on vacation today, I think.

I think the 7" ones are adorable and for the price a pretty good deal. I like the simple design of them, never was a fan of the snowy tips on the originals.

I @homedecor1 I loved the original trees and I can see why you always use it.

Everything the Q sells is made in China or at least most of it. I buy what I like to look at regardless of where it is made. Enjoy your trees and I hope to decide soon or they will be sold out.

I bought the big one in Green and then one set of each of the small ones, green and white.

I have been waiting for a long time to get one of these and I especially love that they are battery operated.

I will keep the big one for home and bring in one each of the small ones to my office and then give one of the other two small ones to each of my sons so they can start their own traditions with them like I have always told them about in my childhood home with my Mom's old one that unfortunately was lost to the house fire.

I'm just so excited about these. I lost my Mom when I was 8 years old and it's been 35 years since I have seen her old tree but the few memories are still there and boy it just makes my heart warm to think about it and to see her smile every time she looked at it.

It's truly a piece of my childhood back.

@lucymo I bought the two 7" white for the gingerbread display, and a 14" white for a cloche in either the red room or kitchen. I have a fantastic two and a half foot green on a musical base that I bought on ebay around seven years ago, mint condition, otherwise, I would have ordered the green also.

@homedecor1 The tree I bought oin ebay also has a small bulb and is electric on a musical base, 2 1/2 feet. How tall is yours?.

I ordered the 7" white because when I was a very little girl, my great aunt always had a white tree like that on a table in her room. It was all white. She was my grandmother's older sister and she lived with my grandparents. When we were little, we'd sit on her bed and she would tell us stories about Nova Scotia, where they came from. That little white tree just brought back such sweet memories.

I just bought the large green one, as a surprise for my daughter. She grew up with the tree my grandmother made for us, and she has fond memories of it. I haven't seen it in years and have no idea what happened to it, so I'm happy to get this one for her.

@mousiegirl. I ordered the green 14" and am undecided about the white. I want clear bulbs in the white. I don't have a need for the small ones but have a want. lol

My family never had these growing up, but I do remember seeing them. I fell in love with the white ones. I got the 14" white. I'm thinking about getting the smaller white ones as well. I put up a village every year and I usually add something to the village and I'm thinking those small trees might be a good addition. I love how the color pops on the white.

I heard Leslie from Mr. Christmas mention that if your light bulbs come off, you can put them back on so that makes me think you could get some white bulbs to replace the colored, if you would prefer. Just a thought.
