What is the best Christmas tree brand (so far) offered on QVC?

Best artifical/lifelike Christmas tree is Balsam Hill, though not sold on QVC. Another excellent one is Hallmark artifical trees, which was sold on QVC about 3 or 4 years ago but not sold on QVC now. Both can still be purchased from their own websites by Googling them.

The highest rated Christmas tree manufacturer is Vickerman. See their catalog online; although, only retailers can buy directly. QVC used to sell them, but haven't seen any recently. Could be they are expensive. I have some and can say they are life like, the most realistic I have seen. Gorgeous.

You can choose a style you like from their catalog, then search on the internet for the lowest price. The best time to buy a tree is after Christmas when they go on sale.

Another good one is Balsam Hill.

Didn't answer your question because I would only buy Vickerman or Balsam Hill.

@Carolyn57 Last year I purchased my first Christmas tree from QVC. It's a VPH 7' slim tree. Post fluffing and decorating, it was beautiful. And, reviewers mostly seem to share my sentiments. I'm looking forward to setting it up again. So, if you need a tree that won't take up a lot of real estate, but is still striking, you might like this one. It's very reasonably priced, as well.

I would not buy a Christmas tree from QVC. The Bethlehem Lights brand, which was really the best for years, has plummeted in quality this season with respect to the electronic functioning of their products. Santa’s Best, the other tree company on QVC, has always had a terrible reputation for customer service. Balsam Hill is your best bet. Even QVC host, Shawn Killinger, did a home video featuring this brand which isn’t offered on QVC.

@MaryLamb Yes, people do rave about Balsam Hill trees. I've never seen one in person, but they're described as being the most realistic available.

I'd suspect this is true, since they're heavily advertised on the Hallmark channel and used on their holiday movie sets. Hallmark knows how to do Xmas and doesn't settle for second best.

Would love to hear from those who may have had them regarding how well they hold up, as they are higher end and quite expensive.

I purchased a Hallmark flocked tree from QVC a few years ago. It is lovely. This was my 1st artificial tree as I had always had real trees. i am extremely satisfied with my Hallmark tree.

My best tree was a Martha Stewart 7.5 with all the same bells and whistles as Bethlehem Lights, reasonably priced and I got it at Home Depot....

Since the trees are pricey, I suggest you Google "Balsam Hill Christmas Trees" and read good and bad reviews of Balsam Hill there are both out there.........

I have a flocked Hallmark tree from QVC...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. So pretty and easy to set up.

@MaryLamb @BlueFinch we’ve had a 7 foot Balsam Hill pre-lit tree for 4 years. They look lifelike, but the lights on our tree have died. The year we got it, everything looked great. The next year, one small section of the lights wouldn’t work, so we hid the dark spots with ornaments. The following year a larger section of the lights went out. Last year only one section of the lights worked, so we had to buy 3 strands of lights for our pre-lit tree. Other than the lighting problem, the tree has held up very well.

I have a Balsam and I think it was worth the price. I would get in the summer though. Cheaper..Or anytime before November really.

Our main Christmas tree we got from Balsam Hill last year...I highly recommend. We prefer to put on our own lights because we have our particulars like incandescent lights and random flicker. We don't like the lighting from LED lights whatsoever or all the crazy functions. Additionally, it's easier to replace the lights if they stop working without having to replace an entire tree. These trees are high quality too.

As for a slim tree or tabletop tree, I recommend Valerie Parr Hill's glistening tree which comes in 3', 5', 7' and 9'. We have 3 of the 3' (2 multi & 1 clear) and 2 of the 5' (1 multi and 1 clear). We love everything about these trees and even though they come with the lights, they are easily replaceable with similar sets we have and can purchase more light sets or bulbs anywhere.

@Eileen in Virginia This is primarily what I was wondering about. It seems that lighting issues can be a problem from the most expensive trees, to the big box store variety. They need to work on this. We buy pre-lit trees for a reason.

Unless you're willing (and capable) to string new lights, you basically have a disposable tree. That would be so disappointing.

Glad you've been able to work around it, while still enjoying the authentic appearance of your BH tree. I guess I'll stick with my slim VPH tree. Now I'm a little nervous to bring it out again, for fear I might have lighting issues, too. One never knows.

I would not buy a Christmas tree from QVC. I’ve purchased a Bethlehem Lights tree years ago, 9 foot. Was great the first year but the second year we pulled it out, not all the lights worked right. Eventually tried Santa’s Best from QVC & that was worse. Again, fine the first year but second year lights went out, light colors faded, blinking didn’t work right. These were both very expensive trees. I know how 2 trees from Home Depot. Don’t know specific name brand that we got at end of year clearance sale. A 7 foot for $50 and a 12 foot for about $120. They’re very nice. Had them a loooong time & they work year after year.

@Carolyn57 @BlueFinch I believe one of the main causes of the early demise of the pre-lit trees (regardless of price or brand) is because we try to fit them back into the boxes they came in.

Once they have been used the first season, they've been "fluffed" and so forth they are not going to fit back in the original box. I've found it much better to get the proper sized artificial tree storage bag and I also store mine upright, rather than on their sides.

I have enough room in my bedroom closet to do this, luckily, so I no longer experience the problem of lights not working--knock on wood.

Does anyone know where I can get a FAT tree 7.5 feet? I have a Balsam Hill that I bought two years ago and while it is somewhat big, I wwould love to have one that is broader...

@aroc3435 I bet you're absolutely right. This did cross my mind, when I was putting my tree away last year, in the original box. If it makes it through, without problems, I will definitely purchase a storage bag.
