My mom has bought several and they are just ok in my book.

Not bad, but not phenomenal either.

I don't really like to buy what I can't smell. I would normally gift what I didn't care for, but I don't have much of anyone to gift real candles to anymore, so I continue to pass on these.

The Best! Yankee, BBW & Walmart candles all have that cloying scent to them and I can't stand that nauseous feeling that they give me. You can't go wrong for the size & the price. Quality candles!

I used to love Yankee Candles but years ago they went down the cheap path so that ended. BBW always gave me a headache (no clue why). Walmart is hit or miss as some scents are FANTASTIC and some are just awful. I used to buy Slatkin back in the day and then......he was gone. LOVED his ceramic items.

Diptyque and Nest (Pumpkin Chia, OH how I love you!) are in my home now as well as a few of the Homeworx candles. I ordered both sets of the TSV as I took a few of his large candles to the beach with us. Everyone loved them; I mean LOVED them. Guess who is receiving Homeworx for Christmas and winter b-days? Yep, they all will. A few of the scents intrigue me so I'll sniff and see.

For the price, I think they are an excellent value.

I'm still a fan of real candles and Slatkin had a true following but he sold his company and shipped production overseas.

Comments from his last TSV were that the quality was no longer there so easy pass for me.

When Slatkin sold his items through Bed, Bath and Beyond years ago I always bought his candles and decorative pieces. I missed his products when that stopped and was happy to see his return on the Q. I am a fan of his candles.

I bought the TSV because the price was very good and I trust the aromas will be too! I also like the variety of the aromas, so many to choose from. The quality of the candles is excellent and I look forward to receiving them and having fragrance throughout the house.

I just can't smell them, and could very well be me. Will not puchase this year. I did see a Youtube video of their house and they had dozens around. Maybe that's what it takes.

The problem with last year's candles was they needed an extra wick and this year he added another wick. On Instagram, some people got a preveiw set and are raving about this year's candles TSV. Pumpkin Woods and the one that came with it..can't remember the name, that set was rockin' last year.For me I'd take his and Bath and BodyWorks over anyone . My experience anyway. Everyones nose is different.

I ordered both Homeworx Harvest and Holiday sets. Last year I ordered some of the 2 candle set combinations that he offered. I liked the scents and came back for more.....

They are a good bargain because they are larger than BBW, and I am getting tired of BBW and their drowning wick problem and uneven burning, with Yankee Candle I can't even smell their candles when I burn them ....

I even tried Walmart candles and there was so much soot and not enough scent....

@mare54 Hi. I would say yes. Out of the six sets I've purchased over the year I've only had a problem with one-the smoked woods. It did not pool out fully but it smells great. No problem, I'm melting it in a warmer. The summer sets ARE better so he did revamb them. Scents differ from person to person so this is for performance only. I ordered both sets of the TSV I can only image how great the candles will be with 4 wicks.

I cant stand his tan and affected speech. The candles do not seem like anything great. Expensive. I am a yankee candle girl.
